Knowing Montevideo

Good well located hotel clean friendly staff .The small rooms touched me against front and the pearl and air noise did not allow me to open the window.

Pessima cleaning

Room cleanliness score zero! Old lifts and work badly.
Weak mancha coffee. Only thing flies and the location Ps. Very poor service from the reception master, sir without cordiality.

The only optimal thing is the location
The hotel is quite old to all well, but the bathroom floods the bath and do not provide something to dry! Cafe of the basic manha if you do not close the hotel you will lose nothing!
There is plenty of choice on the street!

Basic problems

By the time I was March/2025, the hotel was facing water shortage. They should have arranged supplies and they didn't do so expecting the local Enterprise supplies to come back.
The Crystal Palace Hotel is well-known in Montevideo, with a rating of 3 or 4 stars, being frequented by both tourists and business travelers, mainly because of its strategic location which is its strong point. It is in the central area, on Avenida 18 de Julio, the main street of the city. This allows easy walking access to important points such as Independence Square, the Salvo Palace and the Mercado del Puerto, as well as various public transport options, restaurants and commerce.
It features free Wi-Fi and a good breakfast. Be aware that the morgue cagfé space is small and you may be in line or have to wait a while to enjoy it.
The room I stayed in was relatively comfortable and clean. TV worked well with good channel options. The air conditioning is somewhat old and needs modernization.
Regarding the care, nothing too much and sometimes not so attentive.
The cost-benefit ratio pays off. The modernization of some items would be very important.
