Nice in itself, but the room was a bit dated.

We arrived late in the evening and were greeted very warmly. We only stayed for one night at the beginning of our Uganda tour.
Our room unfortunately seemed a bit dated and smelled a bit musty.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was good.

The hotel was empty, except reception lady the staff wasn't in any sort of uniform, they were all dressed casual in T-Shirts and trousers, the room was full of flies, lift wasn't working, on top of that when we came for breakfast in the morning, staff was shocked to see us when we asked for the breakfast, so we had to leave without breakfast for the airport, the security guard was dancing in the parking, pool was covered with dead flies, literally covered, facility is designed well but the staff and service was absolutely a shock!!! I think we were the only customers in the hotel, unaware of what are we getting ourselves into!!!

All the rooms and facilitaties are very good and the staff are very good. We had an incident with the receptionist but everyone came in and and it was all sorted very well. So I give everything 9/10

Grik is Amazing

The location is unbeatable! Close to all the major attractions and just a short walk from great restaurants and bar.... the rooms where sooo amazing and absolutely luxurious and has a great team and welcoming,lovely and nice............
