Great experience with great staff
Great hotel with great staff! Yehya & Ziyad were extremely helpful.
They made my experience very smooth and it was a pleasure to meet them both. Would recommend this hotel as it is value for money as well as the location!

Room 105 Constantine Hitel Istanbul
We stayed in Room 105
The shower was broken on arrival and repaired the next day.
Curtains don't close fully letting early morning light in.
There was black mold in shower ceiling all over.
Paint peeling of the walls.
Walls paper thin you can hear your neighbours fart.
Furniture was stained and moldy.
Window wouldn't close without fear of breaking it.
Window shutters were broken.
Hall carpets are disgusting.
The only good thing about breakfast is fresh omelette.
Noise with works during the daytime so no siestas.
Neighbours kept us awake till 0230hrs then the tram kicks in at 0600 right near our window.
The pictures on its website are not what you are going to get unfortunately. The dinning room picture for example has widows. The actual dining room was poorly light and in the celler.
Good location and the men at reception were very helpful and polite.
The only reason we didn't move hotels was our transfers and pickups were prebooked and paid for to this hotel. On leaving we did hear some one else complain about their room and the attitude of the receptionist changed alot to him. We initially booked a deluxe room and it was changed to a lesser room. They stated the deluxe rooms were under refurbishment.
Would we stay at the hotel again. Definitely not in a million years.

I was terrified.
If you don't want to ruin your vacation, never brave this hotel. Stink/mold/grey laundry/showers in terrible condition/sewage smell/salinized furniture. Booked through the "island" read praise reviews (as it turned out bad they block, mine still hasn't been published) Photo on the island is not true!!! We also sold a non-existent room!!! The day before we checked in, they said the room was under renovation. Although it was disassembled a long time ago. Never again will I book travel through this aggregator. I believe I was deceived by providing false information. On the plus side are friendly staff and hotel location

Awful
We stayed at this Hotel as a family of three on entering the property I had reservations. We were given a room on the first floor 108 when we stepped out of the lift the carpet in the corridor was heavily stained ,the room was at the front of the hotel where there is a tram station right outside which run every few minutes from 6am to 12-12-30 at night on entering the room immediately I thought spacious but dingy,the bed had all dirty marks on the base of the bed ,the pofee wasn't fit for purpose net curtain on window dirty curtains to small for window, panel missing from wardrobe,urine stains on mattress and the safety of the electrics left a lot to be desired,we were told that the air conditioning was new it might very well have been but where the unit had been installed the wall had come away and wiring was exposed light fittings were not flush to the ceiling and again wiring exposed there was black mould in the shower,the hair dryer was attached to a box on the wall which could turn around and the plug was hanging off the wall.The breakfast room was in the basement again very dark and dingy no windows and breakfast did not look appealing,I would say avoid this hotel there are much nicer places to stay out room did not look any thing like the advertising photographs that was posted.

Location and price unique positives.........
Positives: the location, the value for money and the photographer hired for the photos of the site.
The reality is quite different.
It is within walking distance of the main and most 'popular' attractions, in an area full of shops and restaurants. Gülhane tram stop right outside the hotel door (priceless) and metro 10min walk. Really super convenient to get to the airport and every corner of the city.
Cons: the hotel in general seems to have let a lot go, carpeted floors in the dirty corridors, ruined bathroom, broken toilet paper holder .. tiny room .. between the closet and the bed there was not even space to let a stroller pass (which barely fit in the elevator).
In the booking we requested a baby cot but at the time of the room allocation the cot was not there. We pointed it out but they 'did not know the request' and brought the cot the following day ..
Breakfast "very Turkish", very little sweet food (only one sliced donut, a jar with Nutella and some jam). The breakfast room is on the -1 floor, with always sticky floor, smell of perennial fry (the room does not have windows for air change) even at 8:30 (breakfast start time) and dishes not always spotless (one morning at 9:30 there were just no more cutlery) ...
For the rooms the cleanliness was not exactly the best, the floor, especially the bathroom, was not cleaned well, complete with a "forgotten" towel scooped up behind the door .. there was neither the trabiccolo to place the suitcases nor a chair .. we had to leave the suitcases on the ground ..
Uncomfortable shower for those who are taller than 1.80, and finishes to be completely redone; squeaky bathroom door.
The temperature of the room was very high, open the window to try to cool it but unfortunately some guest of some other room decided to smoke overlooking the window, so our room smelled of smoke .. we fell back turning on the air conditioner all night...
If you need to iron something there is ironing board on floor -1, in the lobby off the breakfast room..
Even the external sign is short of a letter..... a T has... escaped..... And do not lean on the handrail of the staircase at the reception because it is not fixed and you risk flying to the ground...
Concluding: as little as we paid and for the use that needed us it went well enough, but absolutely the hotel does not deserve the 3 stars .. maybe two .. but poor.
