Good location. Nice hotel. Memorable journey. Good people. Well decorated room.

No one was there; we could not check in.
We booked a package deal with this hotel for 3 nights. Since we knew that we would arrive late, in the night, we had our travel agency inform the hotel.
At night, just before midnight, our shuttle dropped us off at the street corner; we had to walk up a small steep road for a little while, which was not a problem.
Upon arrival, however, we had to realize that there was no name on the "Hotel." There was no reception, and no one was there. We did get inside and took the elevator up, but there was no one there to help us. No phone number that worked.
After an hour of desperate attempts to somehow get to our room, we gave up and randomly saw a hotel around the corner via Google. Fortunately, we got a very nice double room there for that night.
Unfortunately, it was fully booked for the following days due to the Europa League final.
The next morning, we went around the corner to the Musk Hotel again, and no one was there. Thus, we had to quickly look for something else out of necessity. After we were there for the first time in the morning, our tour guide finally reached someone from the hotel; it was said they were there. When we went back, no one was there.
Please choose another hotel so that no one has to experience standing there in the middle of the night or at any time without a hotel.

A Cozy Place in the Heart of Istanbul
I stayed at Musk hotel during my trip in June this year. The place is 6 minutes away from Taksim square, which is great considering high transport fees in Istanbul =)
Rooms were cozy and equipped with all the necessary facilities.
The greatest thing I liked was availability of a tiny kitchen and a panoramic view out of my balcony.
The service is 5/5. Hotel staff speaks English.

A nightmare!
Liked · Nothing! I left the second night, and the hotel refused to issue a refund.
Disliked · Everything! The front door is in an alley on a steep 30 degree hill. Lobby is nothing more than an old sofa and a bench with a 1 foot round table. The hotel stinks with cigarette smoke, even the cook smokes while preparing food. i had to open my back door to breath.We are a family of 6 and we were put in three different floors. There is no restaurant in the hotel. The balcony is 1 foot wide. The hotel is an old building in alley made into a makeshift hotel. Rooms are decent but very small. The main reason we left is that they put us in 3 different floors, and the entire hotel stinks with cigarette smoke, in addition to its location, it did not feel safe at all. Their only sign is a small 2x1 hardly readable sign outside the front door. The sad thing is my family and I decided to look somewhere else to stay, and we left the second day after paying for 7 nights. The hotel refused to issue a refund

Receptionist
Unfortunately it is not place for relaxation
The receptionist is not qualified to arrange and make reservations
They don't have mentality of making reputation
Due to their price they got customers however you will figure out that everyday you should change your room due to reservation has been made long time ago
