Great hotel in the heart of old Istanbul.
A nice hotel, easily accessible by train and then the metro from Sabiha Gökçen airport. The hotel is within walking distance of most of Istanbul's Old Town attractions. Friendly welcome, neat room and a nice, rich Turkish breakfast on the top floor, with beautiful sea views. The price was also not so bad. The overnight stays we have booked directly with the hotel and would like to come back.

Great hotel, good food, responsive staff
Currently staying in a hotel (from 17.07.26g for 7 days). Amber Hotel at the tour operator is stated as 4*, in fact it is more a boutique hotel. Yeah, not new, like most people in Istanbul. But clean, neat, location is good, responsive staff. The rooms are good, we have a superior room booked, everything is in line with expectations, everything is working. Meals breakfast and dinner. Breakfast buffet, everything is standard, everything is needed and delicious. Dinners served, good portions, complicated side dishes, salad, vegetables, meat hot. It's delicious and satisfying.

Great stay, amazing staff
Really enjoyed my stay here. The evening receptionist (young man with glasses, sorry! forgot his name) was lovely, and Yakub on morning reception was excellent too. Would definitely recommend! Very close to blue mosque,Hagia Sophia, Taksim square and all places you wish to see! Galta tower is 2 hour walk but I enjoyed the walk there and back. Yakub suggested a Bosporus tour was great

We regret that we could not satisfy you. Air conditioning was not listed in your room description. Superior noise insulation is available in the Comfort and Suite rooms. We always ask guests to come to breakfast on time. We don't have a big breakfast cafe. Being late can be an inconvenience. However, we had a corrective interview with the staff. Visited this "hotel"
from 30.05 to 01.06. The cost came out at 18800. To say what disappointed is to say nothing. The room is small and cramped , but it is not clear why a very large adjoining bathroom where it is easy to accommodate three people at a time, but there are no basic piece mini bags with shampoo and shower gel. The ventilation is not working, the kettle, the Countess with water ,glasses, the refrigerator is missing (asked why and the answer struck "so we have economy hotel"). A common kitchen and a meal area were promised , and in fact on their doors are signs "office space" and access only when ordering breakfast (which themselves offer to waive, as it will be more expensive and modest than in any nearby cafe). They ordered separate beds, in fact a double bed with one set of linen ,as the admin in the evening of 24.00 and in the morning at 08.00 it was impossible to find ,the second blanket and blanket could only get after lunch the second day of arrival. At the check-out, the key had to be left at the reception, the admin is gone again. The garbage was not cleared, and cleaning on the floor , not to mention the room these days was not done, it was dirty.In general very disappointed and do not recommend visiting.
