A precious break between two worlds
I arrived here after a few intense days in Istanbul, and I had the immediate feeling that I could finally breathe. The silence, the light on the stones, the discreet but sincere smiles... everything invited me to put my bags down, but also my thoughts.
The Mozaik is nestled on the heights of Avanos, with splendid views of the valleys. We wake up with hot air balloons in the distance, enjoy a generous breakfast, and take the time. This is not an impersonal hotel, it is a house that opens your arms.
During my stay, there was a group on site, and it made me realize that it is also the perfect place to welcome groups in search of meaning, inspiration, reconnection. The setting lends itself wonderfully to organize stays of a few days, mixing for example yoga and cooking, hiking and writing, contemplation and creativity.
If you are planning a trip to Turkey, I advise you to do as I do:
• Start with Istanbul, for the spirit and history.
• Then rest at the Mozaik, to regain balance, explore Cappadocia differently, and feel the soul of this region.
• And finish on the Aegean coast, rocked by the sea and cicadas, before leaving... or returning.
I leave touched, appeased, grateful. This place will remain engraved in my memory as a port of call of beauty and sweetness, amid the tumult of the world.

Perched above the town of Avanos, Mozaik offers breathtaking views of the valleys. You wake up with hot air balloons on the horizon, enjoy a generous breakfast, and just... take your time. It’s not a hotel — it’s a home that opens its arms.
During my stay, a group was present, and it made me realize just how perfect this place is for welcoming groups seeking meaning, inspiration, and reconnection. It’s the ideal setting for short themed retreats — yoga and cooking, hiking and creative writing, nature and mindfulness.
If you’re planning a trip to Turkey, I suggest this itinerary:
• Start with Istanbul, for the energy and the culture.
• Then come to Mozaik to slow down, breathe, and experience the soul of Cappadocia.
• And finish on the Aegean coast, where the sea and sun will carry you gently before you return... or circle back to Istanbul.
I leave this place touched, grateful, and at peace. Mozaik will remain in my memory as a moment of beauty and softness, suspended between earth and sky.

Absolutely not recommend...
I wish they were a little more understanding and serious. Our vacation was toxic, but if you’re on the road, definitely don’t.
