Gorgeous Setting

At the top of a fairly steep and narrow road, the hotel has good-sized rooms with balconies. Ours overlooked the ocean, which was pretty stunning. The breakfast was fine, especially given that we were there early in the season and apparently the only guests. Like others, there was a problem with the booking and our room was about a third more expensive than we were told by hotels.com. Some sort of translation error that they were not willing to bargain about. So we had a wonderful stay but left feeling a bit negative. If you book through an agency, make sure you have plenty of receipts. Or book directly through the hotel.

wonderfully situated, unacceptable staff behaviour for the money!!!

the hotel is great, breakfast super, view excellent, rooms very spacious, new, clean but there was a problem with the staff about the money. even though we had booked thru booking.com and they had charged our credit card for the whole amount they kept sending e mails that our reservation was not valid if we did not deposit cash at the bank, demanding that in a very impolite manner, using lousy english. till the last minute we didi not know whether we would stay there or not...Be very careful!!

A quiet getaway

In March, the island of gokceada is a peaceful place with about 10x more goats then tourists. The Masi hotel was one of the only places open, and we were the only people there. Set atop a hill in a beautiful little cobblestone village, this hotel had a phenomenal view of the ocean and marina below. The staff were very accommodating, and our room was very clean and well kept. We were provided with a large Turkish breakfast, and the staff was able to inform us about the island and transport systems. Thank you for the wonderful stay. Quite Hotel for Quite Holiday

If you prefer Gokceada Island (Türkiye/Turkey) for holiday it means you prefer a quite holiday. And this hotel at the village "Eski Bademli" is fit for this purpose. It has a great view. The rooms are big and clean. Rooms have a balkony in front where you can enjoy the view. The breakfast is so-so if you have ever has a real Turkish breakfast. There are olive, cheese, honey, marmelades, butter, juice, tea, milk, pastry. The problem in the restaurant are the bees. They are everywhere. Also inside. They use some fumigant against the bees and flies.
The hotel has no pool but they are building it, so in 2016 summer the not so very big pool will be ready. But one of the 4 swimming places of the island, YildizKoyu, is nearbye, appr. 5 min. car drive. Do not think it can be reached by walking or public transport, you need 100% a car there. And you must be a good driver because of the bad roads. But parking at the hotel is free.
One tip for the hotel: Do not forget to hang your "clean my room" sign, orherwise they leave your bed, towels etc so as they are and do not enter your room.
And you must pay for the safe box in the room.

Nice ecofriend hotel in the hill facing Egeu Sea

The hotel is in a new building. The room in the 4th floor is a very cozy one, with a large balcony facing the mountain, the sea and the sun set. The manager is a very nice person, that takes care of the hotel and the customers in a very good manner.
