Defne Beach - absolute delight and love at first sight! Our family stayed here in July, and it was a truly magnificent, flawless vacation. The comfort and service of the hotel are top-notch!What made our stay unforgettable:Nature and atmosphere. Amazing, crystal-clear air. Falling asleep and waking up to the gentle sound of the sea surf is priceless. Grounds and pools. Everything is incredibly well-maintained, green, and beautiful. The pools are just super, and there are always plenty of comfortable sun loungers for everyone. ‍♂️Food and bar. The bar always serves delicious food, and the selection of ice-cold, refreshing drinks is a lifesaver in the summer heat. Guest care. The hotel staff is the definition of politeness and attentiveness. Our return flight was delayed, and the management kindly accommodated us by arranging a late check-out.Logistics. We were comfortably met at the airport and driven back on time via a transfer for a very reasonable fee. ️A special miracle is the local fauna! Real sea turtles come right onto the hotel beach to lay their eggs. Both kids and adults were absolutely thrilled by this connection with nature! We will definitely come back here again! A huge thank you to the entire Defne Beach Makri team for our perfect July vacation! ❤️

Flawless

It was really beautiful. Some reviews said it wasn't clean, but it was very clean and lovely. The breakfast was also very good; they had everything you could imagine. The staff were very attentive. If you want to feel valued, definitely go. Thank you to the Defne Beach team...

Excellent apart from breakfast

Rooms were as the photos, plenty of space and clean, a little bit worn .Pool and surrounding area was kept clean and tidy.The restaurant was clean and the evening meals were lovely. The only problem was breakfast which was not consistent one day lots of food the next no tea ,bread or water melon.Staff seemed untrained and not attentive, so utensils ran out but were not replaced.It just felt like when we went to breakfast we were constantly having to ask for things to be replaced or if there was food items available.

A great find.

Defne Beach Hotel was a last-minute booking. We knew Calis Beach well, so we knew what to expect, but our usual hotel was full, so we took a chance.
We were very pleasantly surprised. We had a lovely spacious suite with a balcony overlooking the pools and with a view of the sea. The safe and air-conditioning were included. We were expected to recycle and empty our own bins, and bin liners were provided, but this was no big deal. Also, the rooms were cleaned and fresh bedding provided only once during our 2 week stay. Towels were changed twice a week.
Breakfast was typically Turkish and a bit hit and miss on occasion, but as this was the first year the hotel had changed from self catering to bed and breakfast, we made allowance for this.
The hotel is at the top end of Calis Beach and a 10-minute walk from the main promenade and restaurants, but we found a shortcut behind the beach. There is a Dolmus stop round the corner for buses to Fetiye and the Sunday Market.
Sunbeds on the main beach are expensive, but those at Onur's cafe and Yucel Beach Club near the hotel are free if you buy something from the cafe.
For a great day out, I would recommend the Blue Bays boat trip, which can be booked at the
taxi office, and Lukka's bar is very friendly, and drinks are very reasonable.
I would definitely return to Defne Beach Hotel.
