The host Fatmah is amazing and incredibly helpful. She has contacts around the area and was able to recommend locations for us to visit and help sorting transport when required. The home cooked breakfast and dinners are all made using local organic ingredients and are very tasty and she made a point of letting us try local seasonal produce like freshly picked hazelnuts. One of us was ill and Fatmah gave advice on local health services and adjusted menus appropriately and was a very caring host. I would highly recommend a stay here, the rooms are on the small side but the host made it a wonderfully relaxing environment that felt very rustic and chilled.

Highly recommended accommodation

Very friendly hostess who cooks and entertains her guests herself.
The rooms are cozy and clean.
There is a terrace with a beautiful view. Very cozy common room with a wood stove.
In the evenings, a cozy fire can also be lit outside.
There are many hiking opportunities and a very beautiful landscape.

Fora Pansiyon has friendly people, a great location and view.

Our sister Fatma greets us sincerely and sincerely from the moment we enter the door of Fora Pension. We loved Fora Pension, it is located at the entrance of Ayder plateau. Their decorations reflect their own culture. It has wooden rooms and a wonderful view. You can either toast bread for breakfast in the wood-burning stove or pour a glass of brewed tea and enjoy the view. We felt at home.
Don't leave without trying the herb and cheese omelet prepared by our sister Fatma for breakfast. Its taste is still on my palate :) We should not forget the Laz pastry.
We stayed for three nights. We enjoyed the view and the atmosphere of the environment. Fora Pension was clean and in a nice location. Our sister Fatma helped us in everything. Just tell us which region you want to go to. He gives directions and registers you with a phone call as soon as you tell him which tour you want to go on. From the shopkeepers in the Ayder region, everyone living there, big and small, is helpful and friendly.
We will go to Ayder again. Where will we stay? Of course, Fora Pension. We would like to thank our sister Fatma and all the staff of Fora Pansiyon. They were warm, welcoming and friendly. Stay healthy beautiful people.

A bad hostel experience

We chose the business based on the reviews, but it was well below our expectations. The room we stayed in barely fit a bed and a night table. The sheets and towels were clean, but I cannot say the same for the room. The walls were completely spider webs. The bathroom was tiny and the shower cabin was incredibly dirty. A business I will never choose again.

The hostess was charming, kind and looked after my every need. She cooked wonderful meals and also helped clean my clothes and dry them by the wood stove. I just wish I had more time to stay there. The room was cozy and the bed was too. I slept like a baby, which is not my norm.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Try not to bring much luggage. the access is out of a book, like walking up a path, and you are not exactly sure till you get there. Just wonderful
