School trip

We went to the hotel with our school trip. Their hospitality, communication, and friendly demeanor warmed our hearts. We went with middle school students, and the noise we made was tolerable. It's a really good value hotel. There were definitely some shortcomings, but it remained a fun memory for our students. Thank you for everything.

Good value option

This was a perfectly adequate option for our last night before flying home. A comfortable room, reasonable price and a lot cheaper than the other places nearby. The staff were particularly helpful. There's private, free parking to the rear of the hotel and an excellent local Turkish restaurant about 200m down the road. Decent breakfast at the hotel with an extensive buffet.

A night in Ankara

Room was so good and bed was excellent ~ but breakfast was insufficient. And also internet was fast and surprisedly shampoo was so good :) tv is not working properly actually just a few channels available. Mini bar was quite small and just a few thing inside but it was clean and room was good decorated.

When a Turkish friend who teaches in Ankara met me for breakfast, he asked "why are you staying here?" ... a good question. Spent two nights here as part of an organized tour, and it was definitely a step down from our previous hotels in Istanbul (Holiday Inn Express) and Izmir (Doubletree). The Tac Mahal seems designed for Turkish business travelers, as there is not much in the way English signage and the staff's English is limited. My room (106) was small and dark; TV had only domestic Turkish channels; unlike many hotels, there was no kettle for making tea. Wifi is weak and unstable; had to go to the desk several times to have them reset their router. First night, a failing smoke detector chirped irritatingly in the hall. Breakfast is pretty standard, Turkish fare, with a good selection of olives, some cheeses, only a bit of fruit, and decent breads and jams. Not terribly much to see in the area immediately around the hotel.

Good heating system

When I went to Ankara, I checked the temperature, it was -2, so I was expecting a expecting to be a very cold city, a friend of me booked this hotel for me, as it is in center of the city , near the markets and malls....
at the night when I went to sleep, the temperature at my room was 28, yes 28, the heating system was more than perfect.... I slept with only one shirt....
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel
