Cheap, Friendly Hotel

The Patong Premier Hotel does not give much of an impression on the outside, but actually, it is a gem. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and there was a lovely relaxed aura about the place.
My room on the ground floor opened out onto the pool area, so it was nice to sit there and people watch. The pool is quite small but, being overshadowed by trees, it does not get much sun and is almost always full of leaves and flowers.
The restaurant offers up a decent, if limited, Western breakfast and their Thai food is really tasty, cooked to order. When I said I like my tom yam gong (Thai spicy shrimp soup) spicy, but not so hot to give me blisters the lady understood and I was given just the right degree of heat intensity, so I sweated but could taste and enjoy everything.
The room was rather dark and basic, but this is not marketed as an upmarket property, so what it gives is good value for money.

WARNING ⚠️ .DONT BOOK IT. WARNING ⚠️

Fake name. It has had this name before as well Patong Premier Resort and today the name has changed to The Top Patong resort. And Its terrible. I'm so glad i had only booked 3 nights. The pool is gone, no restaurant. The rooms are dirty and a lot of things are broken. I was asking the staff why its still old photos. For example the pool. They told me the new Chinese owner didn't want to change, but they have as well complain when they meet the angry tourists.
SO PLEASE, I WILL HELP YOU OUT..
DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Joke of a place

Water dripping on the walls, evetually leaving a lot of water on the whole floor, i had to call in for the service that only wiped it off. Hotel feels tired, used up, walls have mold on, and this is the room next to the pool that meant to be „higher standard”.
I would not recommend this place.

Disappointed

This hotel was in a very noisy location and our room was awful and smelt disgusting, the website shows this hotel in a very good light so I was very disappointed. After complaining we were moved on morning 3 of 7 to a more acceptable room which was quieter and didn't smell. The pool was out of action our entire stay, no useable exercise equipment either. The reception team albeit friendly really stuggled with English except one lady who did her best to help us and be as friendly as possible - I do appreciate her efforts on trying to help us. The breakfast was disappointing - we didn't really bother after a couple of tries. We wanted to be in Phuket for New Year and the atmosphere was great, the hotel location was good as about 15 mins walk to Bangla Road.

Absolutely terrible experience

Worst hotel experience i've ever had. Barely a hello at check in, got to room to find urine in the toilet and sanitary towels (used, see images attached) we moved room but felt too dirty to sleep under the covers, then we were woken by a phone call at 3am.
The next morning while changing a member of staff let themselves into our room with a key (not even a knock on the door) my partner is also covered in bites.
Management haven't approached is once after voicing our complaint. We eventually cracked, decided we'd prefer to loose our money than stay the next night (which was paid for). When retrieving our deposit nobody greeted us,asked how our stay was or why we were checking out 24 hours early. The worse run hotel I've stayed in and beware as ALL brochures and images online of this place are completely misleading. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
