in the heart of the Pamir

Located in an excellent position, it is one of the best accommodations in the city, frequented mainly by Western clientele. A bit basic, but consider where we are. Large rooms with King bed, AC, heating, TV, fridge. New and very clean bathroom. If you have problems with stairs, try to get a low floor, because the staircase is a bit uncomfortable and there are many floors, but there is a freight elevator for suitcases. Restaurant on the terrace, excellent pizza and local dishes, Caucasian khachapuri is also available, very good.

Very pleasant small guest house

Small nice guest house in the city centre with a very local flair. Rooms are small and essential but clean and the bathroom tiny but ok, apart from a mirror placed too high for a short person (I couldn’t see my face). There was soap, a small bag of bath foam and hair dryer. There is a cafe on the top with a nice view of the mountains. Food is quite basic, mostly something they call pizza and quiche or kachapuri.

Nothing fabulous, but practical and clean, with original typical elements in the decor of some rooms.
Panoramic terrace where you can enjoy good cuisine, with excellent pizzas and Georgian kaciapuri.

Still need some improvement

We were recommended this hotel by our guide.
Location-very good, right next to the city park and banks to exchange money .There's no elevator. You can pulley up and down your baggage and use the spiral staircase. Breakfast is served at the adjacent restaurant Chaq Chaq. Very poor selection. No fruits. Just crepe like pancakes, cheese, and tomato, to name a few.
Wifi is poor in the room.
Staff friendliness, I give 2 out of 5.

Serviceable for a few nights

Stayed here in Aug 2024 with friends.
The location is in central Khorog, near the public park and around the corner from several restaurants.
It’s a family run establishment, and various family members run different tasks.
My room was a small single on the ground floor. It was similar to the pics seen on TA, but on the darker side, as it was at ground level. I think it would have been more pleasant if i was higher up. Bathroom was also rather compact.
I cant complain other than that…the bed was comfortable, the aircon worked and the shower was strong.
I think there are a few different categories of rooms and this may have been towards the lower end.
There is a nice courtyard area with cushions and a table to sit outside. The WiFi works well there, although it didn’t in the room despite catching on the phone.
Breakfast could be a lot better in my opinion…but if you dont care for this, there is a lovely cafe at the end of the lane selling tasty meat pies and good coffee.
Overall very serviceable for a night or two.
