Berkshire Inn- suggest you visit

Berkshire Inn is a special place! Chris and Brittany treat you like family. Breakfast is substantial, made to order and filling. Our room offered a beautiful outdoor deck perfect for relaxing. Our hosts were very helpful with restaurants and parts of Yosemite to enjoy during our visit. We hope to return- Chuck and Susan

Perfect for Yosemite and Pancake Heaven

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left my husband and I felt at home. Chris and Brittany were very welcoming as was Chance the dog. Perfect location for Yosemite and Groveland. The room was spacious, comfy bed and welcoming ceiling fan. Large fridge on the patio was very useful. Breakfast pancakes freshly made and simply amazing. I completed the challenge and had them 3 days in a row with about a gallon of maple syrup (waiting for my t-shirt from Chris!!). Wonderful property and lovely people. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.

Would love to stay again!

We were made soooo welcome by Brittany and Chris into their lovely home. Loved the idea of the drinks station giving us a sense of freedom whilst respecting their home. Room 3 was perfect and the bed! omg I think it's the comfiest bed ever: like a great big hug. Loved the decked seating areas outside. The room was SPOTLESS . Graham and Helen (UK)

Beautiful, cozy accommodations with welcoming hosts and great homebase to explore Yosemite National Park

The hospitality was the best we've ever received, and we've travelled all over the country. Brittany & Chris welcomed us like family, ensured we had important travel info (Yosemite road closures, etc.). We were the only guests during our stay as it was a few days before Thanksgiving, and Brittany made us a delicious breakfast each morning and we enjoyed good coffee and conversation. They even helped us get an important work document printed/faxed. Due to weather-related road closures, we were not able to visit the Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite until the day we were checking out, and Chris & Brittany extended our checkout time because they knew we wanted to visit the area and had travelled from New York. They wanted us to be able to visit without rushing and grab a shower after our visit. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy, and their home where we enjoyed coffee each morning was cozy, inviting and beautifully decorated. This is definitely a place we will be back to visit and would highly recommend to anyone else.

Cozy and Welcoming Inn

This is a cozy and relaxing B&B with a great setting. The owners are a young couple that immediately make you feel welcome and part of the family. Yes, you actually do feel like you are part of their family when you are there. The beds are very comfortable and the room is spacious. The Inn has several shared terraces where you can eat your breakfast if you choose, or just relax after dinner or a long day at Yosemite. Breakfast is cook to order pancakes with cut bananas, or eggs and toast. There is coffee and orange juice available even before the 7AM breakfast time. The drive to the Big Oak Yosemite park entrance is just under 30 minutes. It is a beautiful drive with great scenery. The small downtown of Groveland is just a couple of miles down the road where you will fine several restaurants. I would definitely stay at this Inn again.
