Ładne, ale nie na najwyższym poziomie.
Bardzo ładne, ale nie 1 klasy. Codziennie śniadania były rozczarowaniem. Za te pieniądze, można by oczekiwać świeżo wyciskany sok pomarańczowy i pieczone - na - lokalizacja słodkie wypieki. I, jak trudno by to mogło być dla mojej żony aby dostać 2 jajka sadzone?
Kiedy zmieniliśmy pokoje, okazało się, że wszystkie pokoje wyposażone są w szlafroki, ale nie mieliśmy ich w 1 pokoju. Suszarka do włosów w 1 pokoju nie działał. brudny ręcznik pozostawały na stronie miejsce na ognisko na podwórku przez cały nasz pobyt. informacji na temat problem z wodą i warunki drogowe były słabe. Świeże kwiaty we wspólnym widział lepsze dni i musiał być odświeżony.
Obiekt jest bardzo malownicze, ładny wystrój, do domu jest bardzo klasyczny, ale działaniu Devonfield brakuje osobistego styka się z z bardziej zaangażowanym kierownictwem. .

Hi Lon,
First and foremost let me thank you for staying with us and taking out the time to post a review. We are always looking for this type of feedback so that we can continually improve the quality of our service and accommodations...even if we have 307 out of 313 "excellent/Very good" reviews! I also recognize that the Devonfield Experience might not be for everyone, which may be in you case. One issue we do not have with our guests is our breakfasts. As you know, we are NOT a restaurant. Even so, we present a very bountiful buffet (which includes mostly home baked goods and some baked right down the street from Cake Walk Bakery), fresh veggies from our own garden, cereals, granola, vanilla honey Greek yogurt, a bountiful choice of fruits, and breakfast pastries. IN ADDITION, we offer two hot entrees - one is always egg based and the other will either be Challah French toast, or specialty waffles or pancakes. On the RARE occasion that the guest has a special request or dietary concern, such as "fried eggs", we do our best to accommodate them (keeping in mind that we are not a restaurant and have 1 1/2 hours to serve 22+ guests). Unfortunately we do not do fresh squeezed orange juice but we also offer cranberry & grapefruit juice. You are absolutely correct about the robes...that was an oversight; and, if you are referring to the hair blower that was not blowing hot air, we replaced it as soon as we were advised of such. I'm sure that you noticed during your stay that the flowers were changed out the next day...which we do from our own garden at least twice a week. We probably should have changed that particular vase out one day earlier. As you know we had an emergency plumbing issue that impacted one room. However the plumber did request that we ask our guests refrain from using water for a 30 minute period of time (mid afternoon). Apparently you were not clearly told that it was only for 30 minutes. I also heard that you ran into a traffic jam/construction on I90 when you left the Inn. Not sure how I could have helped you out with that. As far as a more "engaged management" Team, with only 10 rooms, I am the management team and not quite sure how much more engaged I could have been. As you saw, I was constantly greeting and helping guests while at the same time trying to manage a very "pressure filled" plumbing situation that needed my immediate attention.
Lon, it is rare that I respond point by point, but in your case I thought it was warranted. As you saw, we have a tremendous repeat clientele; many of whom treat this as their second home and come back numerous times during the summer and for MANY MANY years. I have no doubt that they are as discerning as you. They know that we always welcome their feedback and that we do everything we can to immediately address their concerns. We are incredibly proud out what we have to offer and know that we are on the top rung when it comes to Inns in the Berkshires. However, even with that said, we know that there is always room for improvement and recognize, that at times, some things fall between the cracks. We hope you do come back to the Berkshires and find other accommodations that will meet and exceed your expectations.

Wspaniali gospodarze w zachwycającym miejsce
Wszystko w hotelu jest doskonała. Wykwintne gościnni gospodarze, wystrój, zachwycające ogród, książki, jedzenie, taras, dbałość o szczegóły. i mogliśmy iść w nieskończoność. Co za niespodzianka! Bardzo dobre z jedną wadą
Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z naszego pobytu w Devonfield ogólnie bardzo dużo. Dom i teren hotelu były piękne i w miejscach publicznych ładnie urządzone, komfortowe i przestronne. Śniadania były bardzo dobre, duże i zróżnicowane. Nasi gospodarze, Bruce i Ronnie byli gotowi z pomocy dla każdej wycieczce lub z ogólne informacje na temat okolicy i ośrodków kulturalnych w mieście.
Mieliśmy ogromne łóżko w pokoju, który był jedynym bólem. Materac był sflaczałe z krawędzią w samym środku, spać o wiele mniej wygodny niż się spodziewałem. Poza tym pokój był piękny i dobry do przechowywania i dystrybucji oraz część wypoczynkowa.

Sorry about your bed experience. The room that you chose has TWO brand new TWIN mattresses and has an insert in the middle which allows it to be converted into a "California" King. Reservation system & web site does describe this as well. Unfortunately that is one issue I can not address and has not come up before. Hope you can visit us again and give you an opportunity to upgrade to another room.

Mieliśmy wspaniałą wizytę.
Podczas jazdy w drodze powrotnej Woodstock NY postanowiliśmy sprawdzić się w Berkshire. Nasz pokój był piękny, bardzo wygodne łóżko, basen bardzo przyjemny, a śniadanie było doskonałe. Nie mogę się doczekać kolejnej wizyty. Wszystko i wszyscy byli po prostu wspaniałe. Wspaniały obiad sugestie. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc udany pobyt.

Piękny nocleg
Na wycieczkę do Bostonu, podróży na 90 , potrzebowaliśmy miejsca i odkryłem Devonfield Inn online. To było wczesnym wieczorem i Bruce, odpowiedział na nasze połączenie. Był jeden pokój, który on uprzejmie zaproponował w ostatniej chwili zniżki. On zaproponował nam obiad w drodze, w bardzo dobrej restauracji w Lee. Kiedy dotarliśmy, przywitał nas i pokazał nam drogę do pokoju. Pokój był bardzo czysty, wygodny i ładnie urządzony. Następnego dnia rano, jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pyszne śniadanie, z różnych owoców, płatków, i gotowane. Zajazd położony jest bardzo blisko do Tanglewood i wielu innych gości były tam żeby cieszyć się kulturalne przysmaki tej okolicy. Gorąco polecam!
