Just book this place if you like us find yourself priced out of Cape May!! This is a Victorian hidden gem!!!! Romantic

This place is an absolute amazing treasure! Definitely go here & stay to avoid the extortionist rates in Cape May!!
I always do the good, the bad and the ugly so here goes:
The good—lovely quiet beautiful place (except when F15s fly over which is just super cool), delicious breakfast with attentive, personal service—still dreaming about that omelette Lori, very efficient contactless checkin, incredible antique and period furniture, the home is very old as are the carriage houses out back however you couldn’t ask more a more uncluttered, clean surroundings, kitchen has coffee and tea maker as do all the carriage units individually, delicious homemade butter
cookies always available to you, immaculate gardens out back, rooms with all season electric fireplaces, friendly accommodating staff—I could literally go on & on!!
The bad- truly my only complaint was the light coming in the carriage house room I selected this go around but there are plenty of rooms you can pick that are darker for sleep and the mattress was super, super firm in Room #12. My hip and my hubby’s back hurt the next day so if you like medium or soft, select another room.
The Ugly there was absolutely nothing ugly!!

Fabulous spot!!

Stayed for three nights prior to taking a cruise out of NJ. I would this recommend this BnB to anyone!. Only 15 mins from Atlantic City and 40 mins (although longer with traffic) to charming Cape May. The rooms are clean and gleaming with character. And breakfasts were unreal and the hospitality unmatched.

Very nice B&B. Would definitely stay there again. Very limited amenities, so bring your favorite shampoo, body lotion, shower gel, etc. We didn't have hot water, so they had to move us to another building. The room we moved to was larger with a nice sitting area outside. Also, great breakfasts.

A lovely little B&B, close to the shore, wonderful hosts

The Jonathan Pitney House is an absolutely lovely little B&B. There’s the main house, a carriage house, and another little building in the back with a couple of suites. Lots of parking. Although Route 30 is fairly close, it’s quiet and chill. Great location for anything close to the shore. We were going to a concert in Atlantic City, and this was perfect, a 15-minute drive.
We stayed in the Railroad Room in the Carriage House. Really nice, cozy, welcoming space. When we arrived it was 40 degrees and raining and there was a chill in the room, but let me tell you, the heat is absolutely kicking and warmed up the room really well. Bathroom is great, huge shower and tub area. The tub is a double-soaking tub, but just be aware it’s not so big that you can both sprawl out; you’ll be sitting side-by-side with your legs crossed. But, plenty of hot water, really nice. The only minor quibble is that the wireless was a little spotty. There are multiple networks available and if you try all of them you can probably find one that does OK.
All of the hosts were kind, welcoming, and super helpful, but I want to give special praise to Lori. My girlfriend has allergies and dietary restrictions and Lori took time to engage with us, understand what was needed, and provided a lovely safe delicious breakfast. Such a wonderful thing to not have to worry about the meals.
