An absolute must close to elephant transit home and safari
What an amazing find. This is a must!!! The staff are wonderful and before our arrival answered any questions I had and kindly arranged an elephant safari, ongoing transport and a visit to the elephant transit home for us. Communication was always swift and clear on WhatsApp.
We were greeted by many smiles and assistance with our bags and shown to our room for a welcome drink.
The accomodation was a stunning glass fronted cabin with 2 four poster beds beautifully presented with the mosquito nets surrounding them. Literally the most comfortable beds we have found so far in sri lanka. Through a door is the ensuite with a slate/stone outdoor (private) shower that gives a waterfall experience. So pretty.
The transitions between room, safari jeep, dinner etc were all smooth so we always felt comfortable and looked after.
Dinner was beautifully prepared with several curry dishes you coukd help yourself to along with the hoppers which are a firm favourite now.
Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, pancakes, coconut roti, butter, jams, coffee, omelette and toast.

Stay here to visit Udawalawa National Park
surroundings was beautiful! Staff were pleasant and helpful with a nice breakfast . Anji gave me a thrilling encounter with elephants - very knowledgeable guide from Mango Tree

Very nice little guest house.
The welcome is warm and simple.
The rooms are quite decent with an exterior bathroom.
The only negative point is the lack of hot water due to an electrical problem in our room.
But everything else is great.
