Definitely recommended 

The" coral suit " the King suit with balcony was my favorite in Proso villa.
Friendly and helpful staff, Special thanks to the general manager Ajan help me organize the my entire trip in Srilanka and with everything: excursion, restaurants, shops etc. Ajan (GM) whom has been very accommodating in ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. The staff and manager satisfied any of our requests. The location is also ideal and quiet and easy access to lots of eating places was unique and friendly atmosphere. ( aside from busy and noisy coast, but not far from beach )Simply a perfect place to stay in Negombo. The room rates are reasonable of course there is tax and vat but that's fine compared with other hotels in the area. Wifi I unlike other places in Srilanka is speed. The manager dropped me at the airport for a reasonable fare. Room and bathroom clean and very pleasant! I recommend 100%.

Saved our day

We stayed here after the hotel we had booked cancelled on us. The owner was friendly, room was clean & had air conditioning! Wifi didn't work as it wasn't connected to anything - bit misleading having it written on the sign outside.. Its in a good location to the beach & restaurants.

CREEPY CARETAKER! Lovely hotel otherwise!

This was a really good value place with very spacious rooms and nice beds and the rooms were cooled well so they were never hot. I would have loved to rate this place more for its great value facilities BUT the caretaker was vile! He came into my mums room DRUNK during the day when she was home alone. He then proceeded to sit on the bed EXTREMELY CLOSE to her to "negotiate prices". This was only during the day so, with drinking involved, we can only imagine what the night might've been. We checked out IMMEDIATELY but I would NOT recommend this place to women travelling alone as it may be dangerous but otherwise it's actually a really good value place! We rang the owner and he gave as a discount and said he would sort the caretaker out and take the necessary measures, he was extremely helpful.

Happy stay

Well, i booked a one night stay,but stayed for much longer.The staff is very friendly, my room was big and clean, not like other hotels i was staying before.
Is just one minute walk from the beach, nice restaurants around,the most popular bar Rodeo is also very close.
As well i had a mosquito repellent in the room that helped me to survive without any mosquito net!Super!

Quiet location and close to the beach

I had a good welcome:)My room was nice and clean.The manager did his best to help me solving my problems.He was very helpful.My friend and I cooked a nice dinner using their kitchen.Good place,good price.
