Old, Dingy, rundown hotel in a good location with good staff

Know what you are in for! Everything in this building is run down, old and worn. Its like its unchanged from the 1960s.
The staff are blunt but surprisingly quite helpful, friendly , they told me this is an old hotel and nothing much is included eg toiletries.
My room was old, original, functional, had signs of repairs everywhere. The hallway smelt of smoke, and apparently from other reviews, is in the red light area with poor noise insulation which I never experienced.
Considering I paid about $90SGD, possibly high season, it is more like a $40 hotel. Definitely a knock down job, (the photos make the place look better)
I would only stay here at half price point.

Absolutely disgusting my pet dog has better living conditions than.No basic toiletries, rotten and torn towels blankets and sheets stain and dirty.Will Never again stay in this hotel

We checked out within 2 hours and checked into another hotel. The toilet has stains, and the bathtub to shower was yellow.

Good location, old hotel

The hotel is within walking distance of Darbygoat MRT station and is close to Orchard Street, so I think the location was very good. The hotel itself is very old, but considering the good location, this hotel is a good choice if you want to stay at a lower price. There was a refrigerator and a kettle in the room. There is also a TV, but if you want to watch it, you have to rent a remote control at the front desk (it's free). You should also take soap and towels in your room, but not shampoo, conditioner or toothpaste set.

Supreme

Phillipines or Indonesian "working women" coming in and out, don't really care about this since the room rate is quite low anyway for location. Management locked the windows so one cannot even get fresh air into the room however, was not so pleasant staying here.
