Best for an international solo trip.

This was an amazing hostel. Clean beds. Separate washrooms for male and female.
The host is very helpful. The housekeeper is very good. The location is best, the MRT stn is in front of the hostel , so travelling becomes easy. Chinatown is just behind so shopping and food is easy.

Musty damp room

The location is great (right in the heart of chinatown). However the room i stayed in was not comfortable. The window could not be open and there is no fresh air. The vinyl floor is damp upon entering and there is a musty smell. Stayed 1 night from the paid 4 nights. No refund given. Quite terrible management.

Clean room. Siti the clerk is nice. All other staff not friendly. Need to be quiet at 8 pm.

Not a bad place but my bed had bedbugs and I got bitten all over my shoulder and back. I would have checked out early, but they offered to move my roim and guaranteed me the new room didnt have them. Everything was goid wxcept the bath room showers had black mold growing all between the tiles. I spent 2 hours cleaning these tiles for them. On my last day, Agent Siti came in and said I had to move back to the iriginal room. I said no way because all they did was remove the mattress. They did not clean steam nor spray the rest of the room. They did not remove tje other guests nor tell them the room had bugs.
She was nuce about it and said she would mive me to a different room upstairs. I asked her to give me a few minutes as I was finishing an importanr email. One minute later, an arrogant and rude male Agent, opened the bedroom door and told me he was refunding my money and to leave. We had an argument where he insulted me in many ways and stated he did not ask me to clean anything and I shouldn't have done it. So I left. I would have probably stayed if the nicer woman Agent had shown me tbe upstairs room. The place was not great, so other than the inconvenience and time wasted moving, it was no hreat loss.

Soft bed. Soft pillow. Very comfy. Clean bedsheet. Eateries and fastfood restaurants nearby. Walking distance less than 10mins. Easy access to train and bus. I think stay there 3 or more nights then i will be provided with towel for shower. Only issue is 2nd deck bed ceiling.. too low.. cant sit up straight
