Simple hotel , cheap .
Rita is the best, every day care. The room has a fridge, kettle, toaster. There's a dryer. The beach is 10 minutes away. The beach is nice but many Mosquitoes. Rita helped order a rental car for 50 euros , brought directly to the villa . I've arranged the entrance to the beach.

TERRIBLE HOST/ LGBT UNFRIENDLY
My wife has already left a review under the same title as mine here. This one is actually a response to the reply comment the host (Edith) left on the first review. I am actually still in shock about the audacity with which she wrote that comment and I still can't believe that she went too far as to lie about every single detail instead of just apologizing to us.
We actually booked 12 days at Coco Bay Villa (and not 15 as she said) but we couldn't even make it through half the stay so we cut it short and went to another hotel.
I hate the fact that she included our son in her lies. She never looked after him while we went out because the only time he didn't go out with us was when we had to run a quick errand before going to the beach, and he spent that time in our room (being an introverted kid, he would never accept to stay in company of Edith or anyone else if we were not around).
We were never invited to that dinner party. As a matter of fact, we had no idea it was going to take place until we got in that evening and we found her and the other guests dressed up and about to have dinner. And later on that evening, after the party was over, Edith insulted us by offering us some semolina leftovers (from the dinner) which she dared to call Couscous.
I have attached a screenshot of the conversation where my wife asked her for warm covers and she answered saying she can't come to us because she was already in her pyjamas.
Our room was never cleaned by Edith but rather by Alberita as this latter told us. And it absolutely had no Veranda, it was rather a small room with a disgusting bathroom/toilet.
The couple of times we had to use plates from the kitchen, we made sure we cleaned them right after and returned them to their places as we were instructed upon our arrival. I'm astonished that she had to lie about this kitchen part too!!
Last but not least, the big fat lie she tells guests about the WIFI. Our room rate included having Wifi, and to our surprise, there was barely any internet connection. You have to go outside and sit near the router to be able to send only whatsapp messages and nothing else. We complained many times about this and she insisted that it was an unlimited high speed package and that it worked fine on her mobile phone. Eventually, after we expressed how annoyed we were with it, she offered to pay for a 4G internet connection on only ONE device if WE pay for the simcard. So, it wasn't free of charge as she said.
Again, we were awfully DISCRIMINATED against by Edith based on our sexual orientation. She's is a HOMOPHOBE and a LIAR.
I highly don't recommend this place.

A lot of HATE for LGBT people at this place.
If I could I would have given it zero stars but it's not an option. We had a terrible stay at this place which we had to cut short and leave before our checkout date. Edith, was an impolite HOMOPHOBIC host. She welcomed us with a downgrade instead of giving us the room we booked. The first night, we were cold and the next day requested blankets which we NEVER got. As we were two wives and our 8yo child, Edith made sure we got DISCRIMINATED against during our stay. She even threw a party and invited the other guests and not us which we didn't not like at all and we later learned that she excluded us because we were a gay couple. SHE LITERALLY MADE SURE WE WERE UNCOMFORTABLE.
The entire place was so dirty ( I would even call it a SH*T HOLE and it's nothing like the pictures) but we didn't care much because our room was cleaned daily thanks to Rita who was really kind to us.

Thank you so much for your long stay of 15 nights with us . We were very happy to welcome you and assist you in all ways possible .
1. we found you a car hire with a very very low rate in that high peak season .
2. we cared for your 8 yr old son while you went out
3. We invited you for the dinner that evening when you told me that you already had your take away food. Later in the evening, I did plead with you as I had prepared Couscous dish especially for you as a Moroccan descendant. I even told you I had a dessert icecream for your 8yr old , which you refused.
Dinner was comprised of only 2 couples who are repeated guests in our place and was a way of thanks for the couple and 2 kids , whom I was looking forward to introduce to your 8 yr old.
Every day I offerred bananas and fruits to your son , but he refused .
4. I did offer you an extra sheet the night you were cold of monsoon winds .
5. Next day I gave you a blanket .
6. I did clean your room most often myself and made sure that we changed sheets every 3 days as is our condition.
7. We gave you the best room of the Villa with 2 large 1.80 m double beds with it's own shower and toilet and a large verandah.
8. I came to wipe and set back all your dishes and cutlery after use and made sure the kitchen is clean.
9. So we are confident about the cleanliness of the place .
You yourself say that you did not care as your room was cleaned every day by Ritha .
Yes I made sure that the room was CLEAN and the whole place.
Regrets my dear guests . I treat all my guests alike - LGBT. or not.We are all humans.
I am open to the world's sexual preferences and family choices. I made sure you ahd all the services that you paid for and more
10. I went with you to Baie Ste Anne to buy an internet card , which I offerred to you free of charge with 4 GB.. I offerred to you free of charge .
I never have offerred this before to any guests
Does that make me discriminate you as LGBT ?

I cannot understand.
I think it was a real miscommunication and mis conception of feelings and attitude .
My best friends are gay people and we get on fine in life and have fun.

Near Cote D'Or Beach
Coco Bay Villa in Praslin is several minutes walk from the nearest beach, restaurants, shops, and the bus stop to Anse Lazio.
The property itself is decent with its spacious rooms. The opportunity area is the maintenance.
Some of the screens in the kitchen area which were meant to protect from mosquitoes were damaged. The aircon unit, which looked dirty, had no remote control; and was fixed to a single setting. The electric fan's swing mode didn't work; and the room could get too warm. Overall, we had an okay stay.
We appreciated that someone informed us that another guest next door tested positive for COVID19, because the said guest had total disregard for the safety precautions. She would continue to talk to other people without wearing a mask; and she was out and about without any mask on. Per our understanding, the villa staff did their best to remind her to isolate.

Worse basic facilities
We stayed 4 nights with 6 persons and had 3 rooms in the villa. The place is a nice to see and qualified as a low budget housing. Even when booking a low budget housing the quality of basic facilities must be guaranteed. The shower is fixed with ducktape, so it can not be hanged. The waterpipe in the kitchen loses each time we used it. The aircon, fan en hot water overall in the house were not working or did not have power to work properly. From the first day we had problems with the owner and when contacting she only mentioned the low budget accomodation and did not pay attention a professional way to understand what our message was. We would be glad if things were working. If these things were good then the place is a very nice to stay. The garden is designed very nice.
The 2 persons working there (Rita and Sahib) made our stay enjoyable.
The beach is very beautiful on a 3 minutes walk and the supermarket 1 minute walk.

We are a low budget guest house lowest in Cote Dor offering our best services and always attentive to your demands . As you say beach at 3 minutes walk, and all facilities at arms throw!
Good professional staff whom we have trained and pay well.
One Czeck and another French couple just made my heart happy this evening under the pergola saying" Your place surpassed our expectations "
This week we are fully booked again, and all guests are so happy of the same rooms you stayed in on special " free offer" from us the owners ., for exclusivity of the Villa
As you will recollect, ( pls check your booking.com file) you booked for 3 chalets .
You arrived , you were checked in , by our nice Ritha and Shaheb , and.paid and even went to shower .
Suddenly you decided that you had booked the Villa rooms ..
Anyway to give you a good holiday we modified and changed ALL guests and transferred you to the 3 Villa rooms with the exclusivity FREE of charge ..
At an expense loss of 150 euros offerred to some guests so you 6 could have the Villa .
Booking.com.confirms that you booked 3 outside separate chalets and not the Villa of 3 rooms.
Us the owners took the decision to give you a good holiday!
It is normal that a tap or a shower breaks with usage of our fully booked budget guest house .
Essential is that the plumber came immediately to repair to make.all happy.
Thank you for the good comments of my garden on which I have worked hard to get it to that exquisite tropical beauty- showing that we DO have respect for our dear Guests .
With all these favourable comments you pointed out funny you did not give us at least ""average" but qualifying us as " worse "
