«+» Spacious rooms, free secure parking, «‒» too early breakfast

24h reception, free secure parking, generally nice and clean place, spacious and comfortable room, but toilet in our room was missing a lock, and the shower was missing a door. Breakfast was too early for us (7 to 9 am).

Good location for trams, big room, but not much else good about hotel.

Good : Great location for getting a tram into town. Big bedroom. Nothing got stolen. Got to see a football match at the stadium while there.
Bad : Small bathroom, shower not fixed to wall, shower didn't drain well. Toilet tiny, but ventilation fan in there, which worked. Booked a double room with toilet/bathroom, but there was a small locked room in our area in the hotel which looked like it could be given to another guest to also use our shower and toilet. Luckily that didn't happen, but it was a worry to us, perhaps if there weren't such communication issues reception could have calmed our fears regarding this. Getting any sort of room service, new bedding, dry towels, new soap, new toilet roll, during our 11 night stay was very difficult. Got one room clean in the 11 days. Think single night guests got far better service than we did. All communal toilets in the hotel section of the stadium smelt bad, with sewage smell in the corridors. Seemed to be lots of cleaning staff doing things, but despite this quite a grotty hotel. On arrival two remote controls for TV didn't work. Eventually got a working remote from reception, but then had to re-tune TV myself to get any channels working, these channels came and went during our stay, meaning TV virtuous unwatchable.
Paid 60 Euros a night, I really think we could have found somewhere better for the price.

Hope it is cheap..

This is perhaps the most random place Ivee stayed at. First of all it is actually a stadium, the rooms are under the seats of the stadium. It is way out of town, but €5 gets you to the center in a taxi. The room was at least clean, but the beds were very hard, toilet was tiny (could hardly close the door when in the room) and even though the sign outside sais breakfast menu in the restaurant from 9am - this is a lie. The restaurant dis not open untill 11:30. Tried to ask why this was, but reception would not explain. Anyway, if you just need a roof over your head, I guess it is fine.

Little bit far from the city centre and the bus station but you can see the football field and more

The hotel locates at the end of X7 bus line which starts from the railway and bus stations. I didn't know that and I took a taxi from the bus station and it cost 5€ for one way. When I took a bus back from the hotel, it was only 3€. So, there would be some transportation fares vary. The X7 bus costs only .60€ cent for the ticket. The same bus goes through Aupark shopping mall to the city centre area, so you only need to take this bus around in Kosice when you stay in this hotel.
When there is a football match, you can see it from the terrace free of charge. They sell snacks and bathroom items at the reception of the hotel. The daily menu at the restaurant annex is around 3€. There is not much shops in the area but you can find things at the reception or the restaurant for sure.
I saw some blood drops on the steps one day, and I discovered the blood covered floor and the plant at the hallway. It's not like Hostel horror movie, but you might find something like this when you stay at the hotel in Slovakia. I don't know what it was but I took photos and left. You don't bother yourself to get involved in something you shouldn't, do you? The hotel workers are quite friendly and helpful.

A bit different

On the edge of town, but served by 3 tram routes (and 1 bus route).
Actually in the football stadium.
Price good but don't expect too much.
Small restaurant in the building with a choice of breakfasts & evening meals cooked to order.
Also in the area: tourist railway, forest walks, pub next door, botanic garden.
