One of the best hotels from Vatra Dornei

I spent New Year from 2019-2020 here, with my wife and more families. The owner of hotel is a amazing lady, a truely aristrocrat lady, very helpful and very kind !!!
Rooms are big enough, clean, hot water at bathroom, warm in rooms (in winter), good food, very kind waiters !
Small free parking !
Free wi-fi !

Don't go to hotel Bradul from Vatra Dornei during the cold weather!
They say there is heat in the rooms but it is actually given as it used to be during the comunism: two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening, when the temperature outside is 2 degrees Celcius during the day and negative temperature at night.
This is not a proper enviroment when you return from the treatment procedures. You should have a warm room for your body to recover.
Too bad, because the workers (treatment technicians and the kitchen staff) are doing a good job.
The receptionists are not great either with their unhappy faces, on the phone the whole time, with an atitude that says: "You have to wait, I am in charge here".
We don't plan to return to this hotel.

Not worth it

I think the location it's the only plus for this hotel.
The breakfast it's poor, with low quality products. If you come late, all the "warm" options are cold.
Wifi it's not working.
Parking it's not free.
Cleaning was probably made in a hurry.
Toilet paper? You should bring it from home.

the foods was ok, but not so variet
the receptioner give us, a room at the same place whith 50 childs, they was in holiday,but you are in weekend, great mistake
not sou good confort i pay a lot off moneys 1600lei four only 3 days!!!!

I returned to this location, but I chose a superior room hoping it would be a bit better; I stayed for a weekend. We chose a superior room, consisting of two rooms with two bathrooms. Unfortunately, both bathrooms did not pass the UV lamp test (traces of urine around the toilet bowl), so I was forced to use two liters of sanitary alcohol for bath disinfection. Skirts with visible traces of dirt. In one of the rooms there was a very unstable high lamp (which was also overturned by breaking the lampshade); I announced the incident at the reception but no one came to clean the room (normally I paid for this incident). What if a child was in the room ???? The rooms were with the thermostat on the radiator in the open position and I set the temperature in the room opening the door to the balcony. Good cosmetic products for a 1 * hotel. The first night we waited about an hour to warm up the water and take a shower. The room was with access to the pool, but I quit swimming because it was the dirtiest pool seen in my life (very cloudy water and a tough smell). The meal was served in the hotel restaurant Calimani, a restaurant with good menu for locations 1-2 *, not 3 * !!
