Different and enjoyable
We stayed for two nights in one of the double rooms. This really is a pontoon, parked on land just meters from the water. The room (cabin?) was what you would expect then, compact and functional. The shared kitchen space was handy. If you have the chance to take a boat trip with Romeo or a neighbor, do it! The Delta is amazing and they know it like the back their hands, the only way to experience it is in small motorboat.

Great time by the Danube Delta
We were a group of 5 friends and we spent a week-end by the Danube Delta. The owner, Romeo is very friendly and speaks very good English, his wife speaks German very well. We went on a day boa trip around the channels of the Danube with a speed boat and it was great. We had many photo opportunities and ha a swim as well. We stopped for a delicious local fish lunch. The accommodation was in comfortable, clean rooms right by the Delta, no AC but a nice breeze from the Delta was more than enough. We were there during a very warm period. No problems with mosquitoes..

Perfect to experience the delta
The Danube delta is about nature. For me, it meant that contact with water was more relevant than luxury and commodities. This crazy B&B, 3 or 4 rooms only, originally a floating house, sits firly on the sandy side of the river today, and does not offer more than complete access to a common kitchen, a wonderful owner (him and his wife make you really welcome), and the possibility to explore the delta by boat (a good boat). This is all you need there! I cannot but recommend this place and do not miss the boat trip. Ask for a stop at some isolated restaurant, the fish is excellent - once aboard, you and the other guest are in control, as I told you, this is not the most usual place in any regard. You might wonder where you are going when driving the last hundreds of meters before reaching the place, well, a bit of care about the holes in the road then you are there and I believe you want to stay. Try it. Difficult to rate as it is so different, but I am going there again.

Delta Pontoon находится в очень отдаленном месте, отличный бонус для тех, кто хочет отдохнуть от шума большого города.
Комната была чистой с отдельным душем и туалетом. Oбщая гостиная и кухня. На кухне есть все необходимое, даже посудомоечная машина.
Хозяин был очень добрым и отзывчивым. Он также предлагает поездку по реке.
Delta Pontoon находится в очень отдаленном месте, отличный бонус для тех, кто хочет отдохнуть от шума большого города.

Einmalig, familiär, sehr empfehlenswert
Ein Ponton an Land, aber direkt am Donau-Ufer, mit 4 Zimmern, jedes mit eigener Nasszelle. Eine Art Camping-WG. Einfache Ausstattung, aber sehr, sehr familiär und herzlich. Besser geht nicht. Relaxen, die Stimmung im Delta direkt an Donau-Ufer geniessen, zusammen (viel) Spritz trinken, plaudern, lachen, Musik hören, einmalig. Romeo und Sica, die Gastgeber sind so herzlich, humorvoll und relaxt, man fühlt sich gleich zuhause. Zusammen mit den anderen rumänischen Gästen haben wir eine wunderbare Zeit verbracht, wir wurden sofort integriert und fast alles wurde selbstverständlich geteilt.
Essen und Getränke müssen selber mitgebracht werden (im Supermarkt im Dorf einkaufen) oder im nahen Restaurant mit super Aussicht geniessen. Kochen/Grillen möglich, Kühlschrank vorhanden. Die Anfahrt ist für Schweizer/deutsche Verhältnisse etwas aussergewöhnlich, am Ende des Dorfes geht es ziemlich steil und rumpelnd abwärts zum Donau-Ufer, mit dem Motorrad eine kleine Herausforderung. Wir fanden die Abzweigung nicht auf Anhieb, Romeo ist uns mit dem Auto aber entgegengekommen. Es lohnt sich, da runter zu fahren, der Ort und die Atmosphäre sind schlicht einmalig.
Romeo bietet auch Bootstouren ins Delta an. Auch diese sind sehr lohnenswert. Anstatt mit Voll-Power durch das Delta zu rasen, wie viele Touristenboote, fährt er sehr langsam und behutsam durch das Delta-Labyrinth, um die Tiere nicht zu erschrecken, ein unbeschreibliches Erlebnis.
Fazit: wem eine einfache, aber authentische und passende Unterkunft am Wasser genügt, unbedingt buchen und geniessen.
Romeo spricht sehr gut Englisch und ein paar Worte Deutsch, Sica spricht Spanisch.
