Hotel Kolping
This was the second time we stayed in hotel Kolping, all staff are friendly and there to help if needed, the hotel has a car park and it is situated on a hill with a beautiful view of Brasov. The city itself is beautiful and we will return in future.

Friendly, clean comfortable
Tricky to find initially, hilly location. Parking very tight but we got parked every day.
BUT… We loved this hotel- very clean and comfortable. There was not kettle in the room but we were given one when we asked- just went to get provisions for tea and coffee making.
Breakfast was lovely. Peaceful location, great city views. Friendly staff- particular mention to Rares. We arrived at 9.15pm and hadn’t eaten- traffic was horrendous on our journey from Bucharest! The restaurant was closing down for the night and he offered us soup with meatballs and bread. It was so delicious and we were so grateful. He was also very accommodating throughout our stay.
There was no bar but a lovely terrace to sit on.
The hotel was central to several activities and of course Brasov itself. A bit of a walk back up the hill but not too bad.
Overall, we loved it! Thanks hotel Kolping!

Hotel Kolping
There was no AC and the room was uncomfortably hot. You can open a door to the outside, which did have a screen, but there was a dog constantly barking. The hot room and noise of the barking made sleeping impossible which is why my rating is low. If the breakfast wasn't so good I would rate my experience lower due to lack of sleep.
Breakfast: The breakfast was small but packed with options and quality. One of my favorite hotel breakfasts :) They had seasonal fresh fruit like grapes and pears
(best pear that I have ever eaten) apples/oranges. Coffee was excellent. I personally wished that they had scrambled eggs vs the sunny side up ones but everything else was exceptional.
The property had a seating areas located outside back, accessed through breakfast area back door if you wanted to relax and read.

Location not ideal.
Location does not allow accessibility to tourist bus . There is a lift but we were not told by the reception, so we had to drag our suitcases up about 10 steps. Room is comfortable with modern shower. No kettle. The 20-minute walk from the hotel is up hill.

Hotel with views !
A lovely hotel with great views !
The room was lovely and bright, it included a small fridge and slippers ( if required ). The bedroom has doors that open onto a small balcony. So views can be seen,
There is a lift to all floors.(also the car park ).
A great place to sit in the evening is the balcony by the bar which has table and chairs outside.Food can be eaten outside as well.
Breakfast was a choice of various foods and hot/cold drinks and juices, which was very pleasant,
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
