Dirty room, filthy floors

Stayed in the double room with ensuite and it was really disappointing:
Negatives
* Floor was full of sand and dirt, which you could actually feel under your feet. Floor obviously not cleaned prior to arrival.
* Old opened sachets of shampoo left in shower (see photo), again room obviously not cleaned well prior to arrival
* Dust accumulated in corners of room (see photo). Another sign of lack of cleaning.
* Mould on floor next to bathroom (see photo) - room smelt of mould.
* Window was right next to entrance, so woken by drunk people shouting each night.
* No hot water on first day
* Outside social areas not kept clean (it had accumulated from use all day)
Positives
* Good location - supermarkets and bars nearby
* Laundry service was cheap and convenient

Convenient location cute place

Small cozy hostel. Its an interesting structure with construction work that is not completed. Location is super convenient and room is quite clean. Definitely a nice place to stay when you are in irkutsk.

Very comfortable place

Beds were comfortable and gave some intimacy. Nice kitchen and a common room. We defienietly reccomend the place. If you would like to see a short movie from irkutsk find on YouTube: skok w bok na rok
There are a lot of beautiful wooden houses around the hostel.

Average Hostel

Rooms were not super clean. There was also no hot water for 2 days without notice (just heard about it when we asked at the reception). Location is quite good though with some bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
