I stayed with friends on March 13, which in itself could be a danger, but not! The reception was excellent!

When we arrived it was clear at the hostess' reception that it was going to be all fantastic and it was. From the affection, the food, the rooms, the care. All 5 stars and a little more.

Welcome by a wonderful lady, Mrs. Professor Lurdes Fernandes.
I confess, I have never been so well received anywhere else, besides having the patience to accompany us to talk through the night inside, despite their affairs the next day, (full house). Your compotes, the wonderful bread, the ham, the roasted cake, the coffee like my grandmother's! :-) only superb.

Nature and Maria!!

What would the casa da Eira Longa be without her 78-year-old soul Maria who alone conveys Portugal’s conviviality?
The place is magical and ideal to recharge. It is located facing the mountain. the garden is impeccably maintained, and you are in the heart of the most authentic Portugal: the Tras os Montes.
La casa is an old family house divided into a dozen rooms that taste the rurality of good law. There is an extension by the pool. The casa is located in the heart of the village of Vilar which has kept all its traditions, like the cows that are brought back every night to the stable.
As for Maria, what a pleasure to have met her. This former teacher who lived in Cap Ferret and Corsica, taught French to Portuguese. A breakfast synonymous with meals is served every morning. We love it and we ask for more. Great next year that we go back!!

Flawless

A stay in a dream location at the foot of the Montejunto mountain range. The inn is beautiful with its large backyard and comfortable rooms. The hosts are super welcoming and it’s perfect for cyclists or outdoor enthusiasts. It is an exceptional haven of peace.

Perfect stay

Hospitality at its finest in the north of Portugal. Stayed 5 nights and will definitely be returning in the future. Amazing service alongside an amazing breakfast and pride of ownership show in this hidden gem. Don’t hesitate to stay in the best part of Portugal!
