Best impossible

Excellent stay. Nothing to point at. Very comfortable space. Staff very helpful. Very good food (fantastic little lunch and dinner menus very in charge). I highly recommend.

Lack of hospitality

The experience in this accommodation was far from being considered positive.
Apparently, a simple and welcoming space, quickly becomes a distinct reality, marked by unique situations of little hospitality and comfort.
Although there are some points that I consider to be improving, such as the maintenance and care of toilets and bathrooms and the cleanliness of the outdoor pool, what really impacts the most on the negative in this accommodation is the lack of sympathy, empathy and welcoming.
It is notorious the intransigence and lack of flexibility before the internal rules implemented and that nothing makes sense, shocking the superior interest of the guests. In particular, the prohibition of making a late check-out, or more specifically, the possibility of enjoying only one space on the lawn (without usufruit of a spermchair), after the check-out, under the excuse that the accommodation would be crowded, when in reality there was only one couple in the pool. We still propose to consume lunch in space, in order to allow more 2/3 hours abroad, which was vehemently denied.
As a guest, I will not return to this space and will definitely not recommend either.

A hospede a hospede reservou esta dia de 1 noite com chek-in as 15 horas e checkout as 11.30, pediu para ficar na piscina mais 2 horas situação que foi aceite pela recepção e a permanência e usufruo das piscinas externas e interna aquecida nesse espaço de tempo extra gratuito, no entanto nas 14 horas abordou um funcionaria e informou que queria passar a tarde nas piscinas, o que foi recusado.
O late chek-out tem um custo associado e só esta disponível mediante disponibilidade no entanto a gerencia foi flexível e acedeu ao pedido de permanência ate as 14 horas e GRATUITAMENTE, no entanto em dias que a Quinta do Bento esta lotada as comodidades tem de estar disponíveis para que os novos hospedes pagantes usufruam das comodidades sem excesso de pessoas no espaço.

Calm peaceful non-fussy place to relax.

Down to earth, unpretentious place with warm hosts, excellent home-style food (dinner made to order, place order in advance), clean, welcoming. I had wonderful vegetarian food, the best I've eaten in Portugal. We managed to be understood with the little Portuguese we speak.
Understated place without tour buses. Warm pool in the winter was welcome.

A little piece of paradise close to Gerês

A simply exceptional stay! The setting is beautiful, peaceful and sporty, with a very well maintained indoor and outdoor pool. Service is impeccable: everything is designed for the comfort of guests.
The restaurant offers tasty dishes with a full menu, including wine, all at a more than reasonable price. Dinner was a real delight every night: on the terrace we could enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunset, which bathed the landscape in an absolutely magical golden light. An idyllic setting to enjoy an excellent meal and end the day in style.
The staff is amazing: welcoming, available, always smiling and attentive.
It is also a dog-friendly place, which is a real plus for us: our doggies were very well received and also enjoyed the stay! The proximity of the Gerês Natural Park makes it an ideal starting point to discover this beautiful region.
We loved our stay and will return without hesitation. An address we warmly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
