A relic of the past

It's a bit of a phenomenon with this place, as despite the dated looks (shabby, shaky elevator makes you ask yourself "wtf?" each time you take it), it is nearly always fully booked. Industry around Debica is booming and I guess this hotel just comes in handy. Everything about it is mediocre. Basic rooms, average restaurant, poor choice of beverages - loads of bottles on display at the bar but only one bottled lager and one draught available. It's cheap as chips though.
Wi-fi was acting up at the time I stayed there.

business trip 2 nights stayed

Debica is not a big town but this hotel is on the outskirts of it.
it caters for the main swimming pool nextdoor so lots of young noisy people until early morning.
Room was adequate but only 1 small duvet to put over you on the bed is not good and no extra available in any of the cupboards can still be cool in early morning !
restaurant food was ok nothing special and room was quite pleasant to eat in
breakfast was good with wide choice of cheeses and meats etc

Debica hotel with adequate food and accomodations

Was in a room on the end of the building. It was very quiet. Had to clean up the towel rack/radiator in the bathroom due to dusty conditions before hanging towels up. Nice having warm towels after shower. Bed was not very good condition with center very flat compared to ends. Very few outlets in the room for plugging in phone and computer. Did have free wifi for the computer that worked well. Only one small bar of soap and a packet of shampoo the first two nights I was there, The day before I checked out they left two more bars of soap and two packets of shampoo. No charge for the silver fish I killed in the bathroom.
Breakfast was OK, typical continental with some sausages and eggs for warm food. Wide varieties of teas. Juice tasted like reconstituted orange from powder. Good bar with good local beer available at low price. Overall worth the money but not the Ritz by any means.

Stayed for a friend's wedding, friendly staff, lovely downstairs, bedrooms need renovating.

A large group of us stayed in Hotel Gold for 3 nights for a friends wedding nearby, downstairs the hotel looked brilliant, very attractive surroundings. The staff at the hotel worked really hard to make everyone comfortable and have drinks etc (there was a lot of us!).
Breakfast was tasty.
The only negatives about this hotel is that the rooms (on our floor anyway) needed some renovating and none of them had curtains that completely closed, meaning it got very light in the mornings and you could see in at night.

rustige locatie in het groen, net buiten pitoreske stadskom, binnen wandelbereik
recent gerenoveerd, al blijft de wat bombastische vroegere Oostblokstijl zichtbaar in ruime kamers, brede gangen, grote foyers en restauratiezalen, alles blinkend
kamers idem: OK in lokale stijl, # west-europees dus
voor de liefhebbers: recreatiebad, olympisch zwembad, sportterreinen, knap cultuurhuis vlakbij in de straat
