Great location, great price & unbelievable hospitality!

A last minute turn of events led us to Don Giovanni Hotel. My family and I got to spend 3 days and we had such a great time we literally extended our stay to continue to enjoy everything. We had ocean view rooms that were breathtaking and were amazingly comfortable. The AC was so cold we needed extra blankets! The breakfast every morning was delicious and best of all, it was included in the room charge. Felipe the owner and his wife were extremely helpful, courteous and very accommodating. They made us feel like family. Can’t say enough good things about him and his family. His little daughter was extremely accommodating and helpful she would run around to bring us everything we needed. Best of all, they all spoke excellent English so we could easily communicate with them. If you find yourself in Mancora, definitely give this place a try. You will not regret it! Oh and the Hotel is named after their son who together with his younger sister are fabulous surfers! Thank you for a great time Hotel Don Giovanni!

Terrible experience.

The manager had a rather harassing attitude. The worst hotel experience, lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and terrible customer service. Very poor organization, I would never return to that place.

Nice atmosphere and good location

Perfect location, at the foot of the beach and next to the center. You can walk everywhere and know the city. It's wonderful to wake up looking and listen to the sea, you've got the surf schools right there. The very friendly staff, the room has very important air conditioning, they also helped me with the tours.
They have the Restaurant "Ta'buenazo" is excellent, you can eat without worrying about getting sick. It has a homely feel and very good vibe. They made me feel at home!

Not as expected

The hotel was so old. Old rooms and bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable. There are also some small bugs in the room. All the tools in the room were vintage. And check-out is too long. Reception crew at check-out was not as friendly as at entry
