Location is perfect for a stay in Cusco, in the heart of the historical center. The room with a balcony was really nice and comfortable. This is a 3-storey walk-up; be ready to get your bags to your room. Breakfast was nice and convenient.

Heavenly accommodation experience

We arrived at El Arcángel for our 4-day stay in Cusco. The experience was excellent, not only because of the facilities, the ambiance, and the details. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, always available for whatever we needed to make our stay truly special.
I want to highlight the attention of Diego, Yenny, and the young man at the night reception; without a doubt, their professionalism and dedication to the experience made everything magical.
Additionally, the location of the hotel is excellent, just two blocks from the Plaza de Armas and close to multiple high-quality dining places.

The hotel is in the good location. Very close to main area of tourist site. The bed is comfortable and clean. The staff is nice and friendly. The only problem is the room a bit cold and also if you want to shower have to wait about 5 minutes for the hot water to come. Other than that everything else is ok.

Before coming to Cusco, I researched all the centrally located hotels and used AI to evaluate every possibility. Most of them seemed to have three common issues: too much noise, hot water problems, and poor staff attitude. I experienced none of these here. There was hot water every single day without exception. The breakfast was great, and every morning they served us coffee, tea, and juice. They cleaned our room thoroughly every day. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful.
The hotel’s location was excellent and it was very easy to reach everywhere from there. While we were doing our 5-day trekking tour, they safely stored our belongings, and when we came back, our suitcases were already brought to our room and our key was ready for us. They even prepared breakfast for us on the days we had to wake up early for our daily tours.
I found a level of service and kindness in this hotel that I could not even find in many European countries. If I ever come back, this would definitely be the hotel I would stay at again. There was also a young guy at the reception with curly hair — I especially want to thank him because his English was very clear and easy to understand.
