This is the place to stay! :)

20 minutes walk to the airport and a few minutes from many of the bus terminals incoming from Cusco. Breakfast was included and consisted of bread tools, butter, jam, papaya juice, tea and either egg or avocado. The staff (a family U believe) were genuinely kind, courteous and efficient. The premises is secure and a few minutes walk from a plaza with a wide choice of cheap restaurants (9sol for a large main, starter and juice). The hostal was just as well priced and the room was clean and contained a wardrobe with hangars, hot water with excellent pressure as well as a courtesy soap and towel. Absolutely exceptional all-round. This is the place to stay.

Below average

The whole experience in this hostal seemed a bit odd, although we only stayed their for 1 night.
It seemed like the owner's little daughter ran the hostal (I really couldn' really tell how old she was.. 13? 17?) and she just did what her parents told her. It started with, that she couldn't find our reservation. Then this:
"Can my parents get a second towel for their double room?" (yes, they had 1 towel in their room) - "no, only 1 towel per bed" - "Can we pay a surcharge and get a 2nd one?" - " no".
"Can I please take my room key with me, when I leave the hotel? I'd just feel safer.." - "no" - "why not?" - " ..." (well, in the end they let me take it with me).
Also, my single room was tiny. The single bed fitted in there, but nothing else. I didn't have a shower curtain either.
You can buy some drinks and snacks in the hostal, though, and some restaurants are nearby too.

VIAJE DE TRABAJO 2014

Estadia temporal en febrero 2014, centrica ubicacion del hotel, habitaciones confortables, servicio de habitacion oportuna y aceptable higiene , en esa epoca no ofrecian wifi, ni internet, cercano a restaurantes y cafeterias, gratos momentos junto a mi chanchito en sus visitas a Huamanga. Coincidimos con los fabulosos carnavales ayacuchanos.

CUMPLIÓ CON LAS EXPECTATIVAS

Está ubicado cerca a la plaza, se puede llegar en taxi o bus. Si bien no está ubicado al rededor de la plaza, el acceso es fácil y la zona tranquila.
La relación calidad/ precio es excelente, las habitaciones son amplias, incluso cuentan con un closet y el personal es muy cuidadoso con la limpieza.
En general, muy bueno.
