Noisier than a nightclub on Saturday night, lousy wifi, 3 stars?...ha!

Good location, very helpful staff, but the hotel is a scam for the price, $100 for a room that does not have sound insulation being in front of the train station, the bustle was unbearable at all hours of the day, the wifi, worked sometimes if, sometimes not, sometimes slow, sometimes slower, does not have a night lamp, the main light is turned on so there is no dim light, breakfast, apart from the attention of the staff, the unremarkable of this hotel, invest in urgent double windows.

Not a 3 star hotel.

Horrible hotel. It says 3 star it can be 1 star at best. First we were given a room that is not cleaned after last guest. Got a new room. 3 single beds in a size of an average dorm room. Windows barely close, single pane. Lots of noise outside and gas fumes from the train. Included dinner was interesting. While checking in, we were given two choices but all family members have to select the same choice. Water not included. When I pulled out credit card to pay for water, no credit card allowed. Which 3 star hotel do not take credit card???

No hot water no wifi
We asked to change rooms because there was no water in the shower
We were asked 20 usd extra for towels for the second bedroom. Without the possibility of discussing
Meals are frozen and without flavor, we waited almost 30 min to get our drinks.

Good people, hotel has a few issues

The staff are so lovely and helpful.
However, I wouldn't stay there again.
Our tour company booked it for us. Next time I'd do more research. Water in one of the bathroom washbasins was blocked. WiFi wasn't working perfect and furniture was not the best.
But the people (Nuria at the front desk) are very nice and try to help you immediately, as much as possible,.
There's a tea station in the lobby.

Convenient for Central Square and Railway Station

Stayed for one night , to visit Machu Picchu. Friendly staff, small but functional room.
Several people have pointed out that due to its direct proximity to the railway station, there is quite a lot of noise - this does seem to calm down after around 11pm, so depends whether you need an early night or not.
Sell bottled water at 4 soles per bottle, and do a good breakfast from 05h30 , in time to load up before MP.
Not luxurious, but works - really nice staff.
