A memorable stay.
I highly recommend this hotel. From arrival to departure. Friendly staff, Cecilia and Daan on reception were excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, there was a great shower too. So impressed with the restaurant offering. Great to eat it without intrusive music. It was all very calm and the open kitchen with two people in it, ran smoothly and quietly. It was a wonderful way to start the day. Such a good location too. Easy to get an airport shuttle bus which stopped just along from the hotel. A central, colourful, cosy, calm and clean hotel. 5* from me and as a solo traveller on my first trip to Norway, it was a memorable one. Thank you.

Poor cleaning and disappointing breakfast
Positive: good beds, location, some staff (like a cozy man during dinner), offer of dinner - simple standard but good deals.
Negative: poor cleaning, claustrophobic bath, a cowardly female employee at the reception, disappointing breakfast.
A lot of dust, hair and stains in bed, bathroom and in rooms. Several items in the minibar have expired on date.
The bathroom is 1 * 2.5m, and the least I've been on. Got a claustrophobia and had to open the door when we used this.
Had awaited us great for breakfast. It's far from Stavanger's best. The selection was standard, no freshly pressed orange juice that appears on the photos, only black coffee, no strawberries or macros, no shrimp, crepe tails or other that is not also in all other hotels. Do not trust the reviewers from the past, the standard is much lower now. Completely basic and worse than other hotel chains in the city centre.

same day check in
sloppy, sleepy bored hotel receptionist upon checking in. got all the more sloppy when I inquired about my discount being a member of the Norwegian Nurses' Association. She gave me an impression that she clearly doesn't want to help me with it.
Perhapsit was her due lunchbreak , because when i arrived back to get my things from my car , she was eating her food in the front desk. felt it was a bit off , smelling the aroma of the food in the lobby . Otherwise, all good

Central hotel in Stavanger
Fairly central hotel, about 8-10 mins walk from the bus station. Staff on reception were very friendly, nice atmosphere. Tea and Nespresso coffee available all day just behind the reception area. 5th floor room was quite small, as was the bathroom, just felt cramped, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, not the huge choice we'd had in other Norwegian hotels during our trip, but it was sufficient.
