Really great place to stay, probably shouldn't tell you : )

Hell yeah!
Really enjoyed the penthouse suites rustic traditional ambience.
Well equipped huge amount of space.
Nice and clean.
FANTASTIC VIEWS up the fjord.
Very handy for walking to glacier and other hiking opportunities.
Well done.
For travellers with accessibility ♿️ needs the Penthouse (top suite) is not for you sadly.

Only positive was the views

There is so much potential for this place. The views out every single window is breathtaking, but between the lack of cleanliness, weird/outdated decor, and constantly hearing footsteps running up and down stairs, I could not rate it any higher than average. The "bathmat" was an old rug. The shower curtain stuck together at the bottom. There's a purple, velvet couch in the bathroom. Like, what?? It would be cute if everything actually matched or was thought out, but it didn't. I attached pictures of the "bathmat", shower curtain and a vase that was on the living room table that clearly has NEVER been cleaned. The views are incredible and since we were in the middle of paradise on Earth (Odda), we thankfully didn't spend too much time there.

Stunning view overlooking the fjord!

Highly recommended this apartment! We're satisfied with everything.
We booked the 4 rooms apartment. Each room is so spacious. 2 toilets but only 1 shower, could be a problem for 8 of us. The reception area has amazing view too, overlooking the fjord. Host is friendly.
Kitchen is complete, very convenient to cook. Morning view from the kitchen and living hall, overlooking the fjord is heaven! So breathtakingly beautiful! Some rooms has nice views too, especially the ones overlooking the front of the apartment. All beds are comfortable.
There's garden area for bbq or just chill out to enjoy the fjord view.
There's a famous waterfall Latefoss, only 15mins drive away. To Trolltunga parking P3, it's about 30mins drive.

Best place in Norway!

We stayed here for few days,the place,the hosts,the view.. everything was amazing! The top floor flat is stunning if you like cosy atmosphere with breathtaking views! Can’t wait to come back here,which we’ll definitely do!

The Paradise on Earth

The most beautiful place I've been to so far! The top floor apartment was spacious with very big, well equipped kitchen, big chilling area and two bathrooms. The interiors are very cosy, walls are wooden covered and you just feel you don't want to leave this place. The views from Vikinghaug just left me speachless, you see fairytale lake from one side and the fjord on the other side. Worth mentioning is the porch with chilling area and grill (astonishing view to the lake!). The hosts are very helpful and friendly. I'm coming back to Vikinghaug and would reccomend anyone to go there. This time I will stay there longer rater than for two nights! I give them 15 out of 10!
