Ok hotel
The hotel is quit old and has not been renovated in a while, but is ok to live at. Friendly staff. Only a short walk to university campus.

Airco please .
Having no airco was a big issue, die to the high temperature.We could not open the .window There was too much noice in the street

This summer brought unusually high temperatures due to a regional heatwave, which unfortunately challenged the capacity of our ventilation system. Under normal summer conditions it has reliably kept the hotel cool, however this year it wasn’t quite enough. We did our best to mitigate the heat by ensuring every room was equipped with fans and aired out daily, though we understand this may not have fully met expectations.
We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon — hopefully with more comfortable weather and an even better experience!

Very satisfied with the Thon Hotel Backlund
Perfect breakfast, nice room and comfortable bed! Helpful and service minded staff. Good price. The only negative thing is that I thought I booked a hotel in Verdal but late found it was located in Levanger

Good hotel. But the bathtub.
All right room.
Room mo backyard is ok.
But the temperature in the room is completely unacceptable. There's 22 out. This is a room to the west. I think it's gotta be 35-40 degrees here, there was a little fan on the desk that they could offer.
This is clearly health hazardous for young children and older people.
Fine if I knew this yesterday. Had the trip been cancelled.

Vi beklager at ditt opphold hos oss ble påvirket av den unormalt høye varmen som rammet regionen i sommer. Dagen du sjekket inn hos oss var den første dagen på over 2 uker hvor vi ikke nådde over 30 varmegrader utendørs, så hotellet var absolutt varmt! Da hotellet dessverre ikke har aircondition gjorde vi vårt aller beste med vifter, lufting og ventilasjonsanlegg på alle rom, men vi skjønner at det kanskje ikke har vært tilstrekkelig for å kjøle ned rommene helt.
Vi ønsker selvfølgelig ikke at våre gjester skal føle at det er helsefarlig å bo på hotellet, og hadde du kontaktet resepsjonen med denne bekymringen ville vi naturligvis vært behjelpelig med å flytte deg til en annen overnattingsmulighet.
Vi håper å kunne ønske deg velkommen tilbake igjen ved en senere (og forhåpentligvis kjøligere) anledning!
