Beautiful Art Nouveau hotel

Palace Hotel is a gem in Zinnowitz, a beautiful Art Nouveau hotel with a direct seafront location.
Stylish furnishings, perfect cleanliness, very good, friendly service, excellent gastronomy, spa area very nice. Comfortable hotel, highly recommended.
Mrs. Jahnke and her team run the hotel excellently, thank you very much.

Underground Service at the hotel reception

My husband and I had a weekend in July 2025 from Saturday to Sunday through our travel agency one night in a double room at the Hotel Usedom Palace incl. Parking booked. I knew that the number of parking spaces was less than the number of rooms. That is why I asked our travel agency to order a parking space in addition to the room. Our travel agency also received written confirmation by e-mail. Upon our arrival at the hotel, a staff member at the reception told us that 1. no order for a parking space and 2. therefore no written confirmation to our travel agency. The employee claimed that travel agencies sometimes wanted to reassure their customers with statements that travel agencies had placed orders that then did not apply. He wanted to see the written confirmation from me to the travel agency. Unfortunately, I had rejected a corresponding offer from our travel agency to send me the parking confirmation, in complete confidence to our long-term travel agency. After I had made clear words about the situation, the employee found a small note in our transaction documents with the note that we can park at the roundel directly at the hotel entrance. However, we had to hand over our car keys at the reception for a possible firefighting operation. Another hotel guest we knew, who had also booked a room with parking, was like us. However, he did not get parking on the hotel premises and had to find a parking space outside the premises. Overall an impossible Service for a 5 star hotel.
The breakfast was also not our idea of a 5 star hotel.
Our room was fine.
PS: The email confirmation to our travel agency for a parking space is now available to me.

Nice old hotel, completely renovated

We prefer modern hotels - but this "old box" has been so perfectly renovated that only the advantages of such houses come into play: large room with particularly high ceiling height, beautiful sea views, spotless cleanliness, no noise penetrating from the outside - just everything perfect.

Hotel not at 5-star level

It's not a five-star hotel for me.
The bathroom faucets and taps in the bathroom were completely outdated, hot and cold
Separated, terrible. The bathtub had no handle on the wall around it
to be able to hold on during entry and exit. Only partially recommended for older people.
Breakfast was not the hit either, yogurt and fruit salad were in small vessels in a refrigerated showcase. The other desserts from the previous evening were also found there
Still. I asked for pancakes, yes once a week there would be
those, you just have to wait. Yes, that was the case, in any other 5-star hotel the chef would have made me these and yogurt and fruit salad would stand
ready in large bowls and not in small glass vessels as in corona times.
The female staff who were there at breakfast time was partly unfriendly and lame, bringing the coffee took forever.
The omelette ordered for breakfast was too small, because you were still hungry,
same as at night. We had half board (2 courses), there was fish one was
not full afterwards because the portions were too small. Since you could have already told you that you should definitely take 3 courses, otherwise it is not enough. We didn't know that the food was served to a star restaurant in its
portions is adjusted. But the staff was excellent in the evening, very friendly and fast.

Nice, relaxing short break

A beautiful, clean hotel in vintage style. The staff was friendly. There is still room for improvement at the breakfast buffet. Everything is there, but for a 5-star hotel the look could be improved. The food in the evening was excellent. Everything in the bar area was great. The wellness area including massages was good.
If you like the charm of vintage and peace and quiet, this is the place for you. We would definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely book here again.
Tip: Be sure to book your parking space in advance
