Nice hotel in a nice area surrounded by restaurants, pubs and nice water front views. Clean. Breakfast was nice. Helpful staff who reached out to inquire for our arrival time when we were running late. It was a heat wave and the room didn’t have air conditioning, which is worth noting. Staff did their best to help out and provided us with a big fan. It was still hot but we had a small balcony and kept the door wide open all night.

Cosy hotel in a prime location on the harbour - Highly recommended !!

Highly recommended !! Cosy, very clean rooms in Maritime style. Great views of the harbour and downtown. Breakfast was very lovingly arranged, versatile and tasty - especially the fresh bread.
This hotel is dog friendly....

Nice hotel with good views if you get the right room

The position is excellent (we had trouble tracking down the bus between the station and the Harbour, you want 3 or 6 from just up the road).
Lovely view from our very large room, with large bathroom and enough space to position vanity bags (which is always fabulous). All round a good choice
Two issues: the pillows were incredibly lumpy and hard. And the key has not only the room number but also the hotel clearly engraved on the keyring, so, of course, if the key is lost, anyone picking it up will know exactly where to look, should they be minded - a rookie mistake for a hotel to make.

Great hotel on the harbour island and strategically located

The hotel convinces with its prime location on the harbour island and the extremely friendly staff. The staff at breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Here I would like to highlight the lady from Rheinberg who served us first class in the morning.
For breakfast a lot is made in the hotel itself such as fresh bread and the very excellent salads (cheese salad, egg salad, tuna cream etc).
The double rooms are relatively small but very nicely decorated maritime. I had the room for my own use and for me the space was enough. With several suitcases, it should be difficult. Since at night on the harbour island is also an event from time to time, you should think carefully whether you take a room with lake view. Downstairs are pubs and the promenade, where it is also longer noisy in the evening. And if there is also an event, which goes like until 1:00 a.m.... I had a double room with Old Town view and was super satisfied! It is also important to know that there is no elevator here. Thank God I had the room on the first floor and you could still manage that well with the suitcase. Since you have sights and also the shipping offers in the immediate vicinity, the hotel is really nice and the staff is friendly, I can recommend this hotel unreservedly for a stay in Stralsund!

There are better hotels

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We were 3 couples and two of us got room at the top with a huge staircase. No elevator. It did not appear that all rooms were basically located at the top. The car had to be parked in a parking garage a short distance away and you got a little discount from the hotel. Breakfast they wanted 18.50 euros. If you walk up a bit towards the old town you will find perfect breakfasts for half that price.
