Very nice ground floor room with direct outside access. Very useful with taking out our dogs.

Not convinced.
Did not convince us!
We were there for 2 nights.
The hotel is located in a residential area. There is a shopping center all around. But that is about it.
When we arrived, we were told that the bar opens at 5:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, however, the one bartender was still busy restocking.
The entire outdoor area is very unkempt. Weeds and dirt everywhere. On the terrace, the glasses and overflowing ashtrays from the previous day are still there at 10:00 AM. There are still glasses and empty bottles lying around inside as well.
The tables are only wiped down upon request. One must retrieve the seat cushions from a box oneself.
Our toilet was very dirty on the day of arrival. It was thoroughly cleaned the next day upon request. However, the rest of the room was not attended to. When we returned home in the evening, the towels had not yet been changed, the bed had only been made with the blanket, but no pillows had been fluffed.
I then went to the reception with the used towels. I was handed new towels, but there was not a word of apology... We think it is too little.
Staff is available for everything. Very unfortunate. We will definitely not return and cannot recommend the hotel.

Great Stay at the Courtyard Schwerin!
I had a really pleasant stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Schwerin. The room was comfortable, clean, and nicely designed — just the right atmosphere to relax after a day of work.
The breakfast was excellent, offering plenty of variety and fresh options every morning. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile.
All in all, everything was just right — comfortable, welcoming, and well organized. We would definitely come back the next time we’re in Schwerin!

Always convincing – great service at Courtyard Schwerin
We regularly stay at the Courtyard Schwerin and I am currently back here as a guest. Every time we are convinced of the service and the whole atmosphere.
I would particularly like to highlight Mr. Wael alHussein at the reception, who offers a service that is truly second to none. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after.
But the entire team – whether at the bar, in the restaurant or in service in general – also does an excellent job. The staff are international, very friendly and make you feel completely comfortable.
I have been here several times with my husband and we like to come back every time. For us a clear recommendation when staying in Schwerin.
