Excellent location

Experiences satisfactory, in Nuremberg, primarily for the location a stone's throw from the historic center, and also because it has a private parking. The rooms are relatively small and with a shower room quite cramped, for non-minute people. We did not have breakfast and the price compared to other facilities is perhaps higher than low, while maintaining acceptable levels.

La ringraziamo moltissimo per aver dedicato del tempo a recensire in modo così dettagliato il suo soggiorno presso il nostro hotel.
Siamo lieti di sapere che ha particolarmente apprezzato la posizione centrale del nostro hotel e la disponibilità di parcheggio in loco. Apprezziamo inoltre molto il suo feedback positivo sulla pulizia.
Allo stesso tempo, prendiamo molto sul serio il suo commento sulle dimensioni delle camere e sul design del bagno. Comprendiamo che le nostre camere, soprattutto in un edificio storico, possano talvolta differire per dimensioni dagli standard moderni. Consideriamo inoltre molto importante il suo feedback sul rapporto qualità-prezzo, in quanto ci aiuterà a migliorare ulteriormente la nostra offerta e a trarne insegnamento.
Saremmo lieti di darle nuovamente il benvenuto durante la sua prossima visita a Norimberga.

Not an experience to repeat

First, the positives - a clean hotel in a central location with a good breakfast. Some of the staff were very helpful, especially when we checked in and realized we’d inadvertently booked a special package we didn’t want. The woman working helped us unwind it and we agreed on an alternative rate.
The negative - upon departure, after we’d paid the agreed rate the evening before, the hotel manager insisted we owed more - 33 Euros for 2 breakfasts. When we tried to explain, she started yelling at us and threatened to call the police. She wouldn’t even let me return to the room to get the paper with the agreed rate details. My husband and I were so shocked that we paid and left. This is the first time we’ve left a negative review, but hope to spare others this sort of treatment.

Adorable hotel, very friendly staff

Loved our stay at Hotel Elch! The staff are super friendly and helpful without feeling like stodgy hotel staff. We stayed in Room 1 that was on the first floor and it was perfect for two nights. So cozy and cute, felt authentic to the area (very close to the castle in old town). Wifi worked decently and had everything we needed (though there wasn't a kettle, but not major). The location is really the star though, so close to the castle, the christmas market and the main pedestrian walking area within the city walls. I will say, this is not a fancy hotel, its great but if you are looking for luxury look elsewhere. Pillows are a bit flat, and we heard a bit of noise transfer from throughout the building as it is an old building! Would 100% recommend.

A great hotel with friendly staff

For the second time I could stay here and booked the loft this time, which was a great decision.
The breakfast offer left nothing to be desired and was permanently freshly refilled.
I can only recommend the Hotel Elch Boutique.
