Excellent hotel for independent travelers

Two-minutes' walk from the south exit of the main station. From here, you can walk or take a tram to most of Munich's attractions and nearby towns. It is a perfect accommodation for independent travelers.
The hotel boasts a simple modern interior design. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. Self-check-in is available. While it might be unfamiliar to first-timers, the front desk staff are very helpful. There is usually only one staff member at the front desk, he/ she might be busy during peak hours. But every employee is proactive, friendly, efficient, and provides excellent service.
Very satisfied with this stay. Would definitely return next time.

When I checked in, I found that it was a two-story room, with beds on a gallery.

This was not apparent at the time of booking and I do not like it, as it is impractical. Additionally, I was irritated by the old orange faux leather sofa and the worn dressers/desk. So I went back down with the request to receive a ground-level junior suite.
I was promptly handed a new room key. Upon entering the room, I was shocked. Old green carpet, small room, sagging mattress. Again, I went back down to ask if this was really supposed to be a junior suite. After some hesitation, the now very unfriendly gentleman informed me that this was not the case - I should have wanted a different room, and all junior suites indeed have stairs. So I went back to the old orange sofa and the steep stairs to the bed. At least there was a newer carpet and a nice bathroom.
Conclusion: Rooms are rather old and uncomfortable, service unprofessional. What a pity - this was my first visit to a Flemming Hotel and I always thought it was a modern, good brand.
However, the friendly service at the Italian restaurant on the ground floor is highly recommended.

Missing private things from the Room via staying 4 nights as a job trip IFAT 2026

I stayed at this hotel several times during IFAT Munich without issues, but during my recent 4-night business trip I had a very disappointing experience. On the third day, I returned to Room 314 and found that many personal gifts (chocolates, perfumes, and creams) were missing, while the room had not even been cleaned. I informed reception, but no action was taken and I was only asked to send an email. I recommend future guests to be very careful with their personal belongings, as I did not feel my concerns were handled seriously or respectfully.

Hotel with Italian restaurant

Very nice hotel with extremely convenient location. It is 5 minutes walk from the station, but what was even more pleasing was the convenience of the airport road. There is a Lufthansa Express bus stop 5 minutes from the hotel (it is better to go through the tunnel under the train tracks). 40 minutes and you're in the airfield! No longer than a cab. The hotel is located on a very busy street, but thanks to the excellent soundproofing, the room was absolutely quiet at night.
Pretty decent breakfasts. In the same restaurant where breakfast is served in the morning, there is a decent Italian restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine in the evening. Tired of sausages and cabbage, happily ate a grilled octopus there.

Tasteful and clean and fantastic food day after day

I arrived in the evening in a small lobby very kind I immediately received a large clean and beautiful room with a luxurious bathroom and new supplies with everything needed and I went down for a dinner past in an Italian formula in the restaurant of the hotel I ate spared with very delicious parmesan and a glass of dry red wine
