Excellent situation and breakfast, friendly staff

This hotel was perfect for a short visit to Dusseldorf by myself. I booked a 'comfort' single room, which was spacious for a single person and had a generously-wide single bed. To be honest I didn't try adjusting the inflatable mattress, as I was very happy with the setting it was already on, but I was intrigued as I've never come across one of these before. The breakfast buffet was very well presented, with an excellent choice of a wide variety of dishes. The hotel was an easy walk from the main railway station, and I also walked to most of the places I visited in the city centre, though there were tram and bus stops nearby. Staff at reception and breakfast were very helpful and friendly. My only very small gripe is that the soap/shampoo provided was a little too harsh and astringent for me - I would have preferred something gentler on the skin.

Great hotel within walking distance to everything in central Duesseldorf

Looks a bit rough on the outside but the better on the inside. Clean and fresh but not so modern and flashy. The room was very large and kept a very good standard. Great bed which was a plus. Great location within walking distance to most things. Good breakfast

Prima hotel

Very good and clean hotel. Friendly staff, friendly staff.
Extensive and a fine breakfast.
Nice big big bed.
Check-out is at 12.00 so you can take it easy in the morning.
There's an elevator and stairs.
On the sixth floor there is a shared balcony.

Extremely dated!

The rooms and the hotel are extremely old and very much in need of renovation. There's a very musty smell. Never before have I seen a 1960s bathroom in a hotel. After a conversation at the desk, the gentleman pointed out one photo that looked like the bed what was in the room in question. All the other 39 photos were from another room. He just blew me off. Because it was late in the day, we were obliged to stay here. After paying for an upgrade came into a slightly newer room. This one was still very dated and had stains in the carpet. Both rooms looked nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. This is not a place to feel hygienic and definitely not recommended. I'm even a little freaked out by it.

Very good stay

Quiet room, extremely spacious.
Very good breakfast with many "homemade" products
The hotel is located close to public transport. Hotel parking is a bit expensive and cheaper parking is nearby
