AVOID. The photos were clearly taken many years ago. First room had clear damage around the lock indicating the door being kicked open and not repaired. Very shabby old furniture with evidence of cigarette burns. Filthy bed covered in bodily fluids and cigarette burns. I was offered other rooms which were equally disgusting. I asked to see a manager. None present. I requested they call me, they did not. The manager would also not speak to hotels.com. I did not stay. UNSAFE AND A RISK TO HEALTH AND SAFETY

It's OK considering the price.

The good thing is mostly that it's quite cheap, but then again, there are some aspects that reflect that.
The ceiling light in the bathroom is motion activated apparently, and if you stand still for literally more than 3 seconds, it turns off. This was incredibly annoying as anytime you were in the bathroom either using the toilet, showering, brushing teeth or whatever, you had to wave your hand around the air literally every 3 seconds unless you'd want to be in complete darkness.
Some of the towels had stains, and the floor could be cleaner, but other than that, it was fairly clean.
As other comments say, outside noise can be heard very well. There are a lot of sirens from the streets and a lot of shouting from other rooms.
We had a TV in our room, but to no use since it didn't work. We had internet as well, which didn't work 75% of the time.
All in all I think there are a lot of minor to medium issues that would bring my rating up, but considering the cheap price and some of the issues I think that 3 stars is in fact generous considering the amount of issues.

The window in the room did not close, you could hear everything coming from the room above and the check out at 10 is just not okay

The photos not match real life. Smells a lot with cigarettes I had a headache after 5 minutes there. Ask to change room and it was better but still not same as photo.

The room was as basic as it gets especially the amount i was charged. There was no extra pillows or bed covers, no tea/coffee making facility and no cups or glasses to get a drink of water. entrance to the hotel different door to the reception. Frightening experience when returning from a night out, when i entered the building the lights wouldn't come on and there was a man sat on the stairs with a hoody. The next morning i tried to contact reception unfortunately closed. The Hotel looks nothing like the photos on Hotels.com in my opinion is false advertising. I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to my company or business colleges.
