An incredible experience
We had an amazing 12 day tour of southern and central Mongolia.
Firstly, the country is absolutely stunning and each day we had something completely different to experience.
Secondly, shout out to our guide and driver Badmaa and Hurlee who made the experience even better. Both were absolutely lovely and catered for all of our needs.
I have to say come in to Mongolia as a vegetarian, I thought I’d struggle to find any vegetarian alternatives, but Badmaa managed to cater for us each day.
If you are going to do a tour in Mongolia, I would 100% recommend you use Adventure Riders Mongolia.

Experience Mongolia, not just see it
The car ride with Baika and Tomé was an experience that I will never forget. I have traveled quite a lot the last 20 years and been to many different places around the world, but I never tried this kind of trip. The thing is, when you go with the locals, you see the things that aren’t written in a book, and you drive roads that don’t really exist, at least not on the map.
Recommended! So recommended, that I’m seriously thinking about going for another Adventure Ride in Mongolia. Only the Covid-19/20/21 can stop me.

6 days Gobi tour
We did the dinosaurs of Gobi tour, we saw a lot of great places and fantastic parts of the Gobi Desert. The Camel riding and later on tobogganing down the sand dune was great fun. We experienced a great variety of local food, as lunch sometimes in a „restaurant“ and as dinner always homecooked by our fantastic guide Boogii. But be aware that the accommodation during the trip is very basic, that means no electricity most of the time and no running water. Luckily we were there in the low season and our guide was able to get us to places with electricity and running water for some 9-10€ pp per day extra. There is a lot of driving involved, so be sure to bring something to kill the time during these rides.
