Perfect stay in Palenque!

A true highlight of our trip! The property is beautiful. If you enjoy being off the beaten path and being surrounded by nature, Winíka is it. Helena and Abel are wonderful hosts. Always available to answer questions. We didn’t have a car but transportation was easy to get. The pool is exceptional; the cabins are charming, clean and comfortable. The food is good and made fresh mostly from ingredients grown on the property. They also provide excellent tours with professional and knowledgeable guides. We can’t recommend Winíka more highly!

The best accommodation in Palenque in the middle of nature

We have come a group of friends and we can only be grateful for the luck to have found this accommodation.
We have felt like family (and have been treated as such).
An enclave that, although very close to Palenque, is in the middle of nature and you can enjoy it 100% but with all the amenities they have.
The cabins are super equipped, have super comfortable beds, air conditioning, full and modern bathroom and mosquito nets in door and windows.
The natural pool is wonderful and the views are unpayable.
They have a super equipped shared kitchen so you can prepare what you need and the dining room is very nice.
They gave us all the facilities for transport, taking us from the city to the accommodation (and back), and also to the archaeological site (whose visit we contracted through them. A super hit!).
A family, sustainable and local project.
100% recommended!

Nature is paramount, comfort a little less!

Eco-responsible Bungalos lost in tropical vegetation.
Very far from the city, ideal for unwinding visiting days and for nature lovers. Very quiet.
The father and daughter welcome you with attention , the dinner is correct with farm produce.
Breakfast is disappointing because a little light and banal
The place deserves some restoration work , a bit cozy place to have a drink or relax.
Everything is a little sad in the evening ....

Our Ideal Stay by Palenque

This is a wonderful place to stay for so many reasons. For us, the ideal place is in nature AND close to the places of interests. For the Palenque ruins, this turned out to be the perfect place.
Our hosts, Elena (daughter) and Avel (father) made us feel so welcomed. Our room was well appointed, quiet, very clean and comfortable. The bungalows are well spaced with private balconies and entrances. We swam in the eco-pool, which is naturally cleaned by the adjacent plant ponds, which they developed (both parents are chemists). We saw a variety of birds, butterflies and heard howler monkeys every day. We stayed for 3 nights and had different meals each day, which were all delicious, some coming straight from their garden/farm.
On our first night there, Avel took out his telescope and we got to see the many craters on the moon, Venus, the rings of Saturn and the moons of Jupiter. What a treat! They are also reforesting 2 hectares of previous ranch land, which surrounds the eco-lodge. Truly a remarkable family and a fantastic place to stay.

Uncontaminated place for those who love to stay immersed in the forest

We stayed at this lovely place. Excellent hospitality, and it is surprising even the small kitchen with very few dishes that vary daily according to the local product. All very simple but unrepeatable. Congratulations
