Luxury

I found this hotel to be a very good bargain. The staff was very courteous and attentive. It was a safe, clean and very nice. Pool area was clean and secluded. The only problem we encountered was the shower drain was slow and backed up. We only stayed one night but I will definitely stay there again. Close to the lake, shopping and zoleco area.

Great Location, Nice Hotel

I had a room on the top floor with a private balcony overlooking the street. Lovely room, not as big as others I have stayed in for the same or less cost. Shower/toilet was very small but clean and lovely hot water. Communal area with sofas and a view of the lake outside was outside my door. Rooms on the second floor had bigger communal areas with tables, chairs and umbrella.
Free coffee but only in the reception area in very small polystyrene cups so I used to take two each morning back to my room which was fine, and tasty.
Rooms clean and beds and pillows comfy.
There was a carnival on the week that I was there which may be why the price was quite high compared to other places I have stayed in.
Pool is clean and pool area nice but both small so you can only really have one family/group of people in and around it. No reclining sunbeds, only chairs.
Wifi in rooms, dropped a few times. Rooms got very hot but windows on either side of the room helped the air flow and the fan/aircon was quiet and worked well.
A few minutes walk tot eh beautiful lake and also to the main square.

Excellent for the value

This is a small, cozy, beautiful place for the value. The rooms were just redecorated nicely. It has a great location. The customer service is excellent. A group of 11 people stayed. We all enjoyed it. The pool, the atmosphere, the free coffee, the location were every penny worth it.

Nice place

Good service, clean rooms, hot water, and free coffee. That was enough for us. The double room we stayed in had a balcony overlooking the street below. There's a grocery store and a great taco place across the street too.

Fair Price, Good service

This is not a fancy hotel. It is a very nice, basic hotel. The price is reasonable. The rooms are okay - some are even quiet. The parking is excellent and secure. The staff is super-friendly and accommodating.
I threw my back out while there. A bellman brought me everything I needed and offered to help me down the stairs if I needed. Someone mentioned the bathrooms being small. Yep, they are. That is typical in older Mexican hotels for some reason. But they were clean.
I got the quietest room, in the back, overlooking the pool. The ones by the street are noisy during the day and until about 10 PM.
This hotel is right downtown and convenient. You can see the lake from the balcony. The pool is very clean and even has a little waterfall. It made a pleasant background noise.
I would stay here again.
