Good hotel overall
Overall the Barceló chain is very good and this hotel could not be less. I loved it, even if I couldn't enjoy it too much. The bed very comfortable, everything very clean, good cleaning.

We had an exceptional stay at the Occidental Hotel and I would like to warmly thank the entire team for making my birthday unforgettable.
A huge thank you in particular to Hajar Tahiri, an exceptional housekeeper, who helped my husband prepare this magnificent surprise. She decorated our room with great care, taste, and attention. Her professionalism, her kindness, and her benevolence deeply touched us. She took great care of us throughout our stay.
Hajar Tahiri has a rare gentleness, kindness, and humanity. You immediately feel that she deeply loves her job and that she performs it with passion. Her professionalism, her smile, and her benevolence marked our stay. People like her are precious and make all the difference. In my eyes, she would highly deserve a promotion, as her commitment and dedication are exemplary.
I also wish to thank her colleagues as well as their managers, Nadia and Imane, who also participated in the success of this beautiful surprise. Their involvement, their smiles, and their sense of service deserve to be highlighted.

Great rooms, great pool, but the Staff was under manned or not well managed. A lot of waiting during breakfast for water, glass, cups, and other Basic things.

Overall, my experience was satisfactory, and I am pleased with certain aspects. However, the service deserves to be improved.
Overall, my experience was satisfactory, and I am pleased with certain aspects. However, the service deserves to be enhanced in order to provide a better experience for customers. It would be desirable for the staff to be more attentive, more responsive, and more organized in their way of addressing requests. More effective communication and faster service times would make a significant difference. With a few adjustments, this establishment could reach a much higher level of quality. The potential is certainly present, but improving customer service is essential to fully satisfy visitors and encourage them to return.
