A great location to stay

We stayed in Villa De L’o for a week. The location just inside the walls of the town and opposite the beach is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was traditional Moroccan : fruit, pancakes, pastry, omelette, and more which we enjoyed each morning. Our bedroom was overlooking the beach and had both a shower and a bath. It was large and cleaned every day.
The sun deck needed a little TLC but otherwise this was a great stay and we loved our week in Essaouira.

I do not recommend this property

An establishment that is not representative of the publications shared on the various networks.
A terrace and rooftop entirely in work, not usable (photos supported)
Very average rooms, with cleanliness and condition especially at the shower which is scary...
An equally average lunch... in short, I recommend this establishment despite its great location.
Uncooperative leaders who don’t want to hear anything and don’t even take responsibility for moving around.

Don’t go there it’s a scam

It is a guest house without view an unfurnished terrace we have shortened our stay the terrace and in works for 1 year no water in the rooms no bathrobe I am never seen such a gap between the reality of the photos on booking to flee

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel, ideally located in the walls of Essaouira — a number one location to fully enjoy the city, while being close to the beach.
The staff is particularly warm and attentive, with special mention for Nourdine, who was in great care with us and our daughter throughout the stay.
The room was spacious, with very good bedding, and the breakfast was quality.
A few points of improvement, however: the soundproofing is average, even if it is understandable for a historic establishment. The water pressure in the sink could also be improved.
Despite this, I recommend this property for its exceptional location, the quality of its welcome and the charm of the experience.

Perfect location and base to explore beautiful Essaouria

We spent 8 nights at this superb Riad. The hotel staff were incredible. Couldn't do enough for us and so very helpful and friendly. We felt truly welcome. Great recommendations for restaurants too! Room was spacious and comfortable. Quiet - just the seagulls and the calls to prayer from the local minarets awoke us in the mornings. Lovely atmosphere and rich in Moroccan heritage. The town itself is such a good get away, lots of great places to eat, lots of first class beautiful moroccan hand made souvenirs, textiles, shoes, pottery - you name it! The tagines are delicious with fresh fish caught that morning. The fishing harbour, beach, fortifications and the waves crashing on the rocks outside the city walls. Like a movie set. Magical.
