Riad beldy is worth a visit

The Riad is very well placed near the port and the souk. The room was very comfortable and comfortable. Bathroom also very typical. Everything is clean and tastefully decorated. Small terrace on the top floor to land very nice too. The typical and excellent hearty breakfast! All the staff is at your disposal smiling and friendly. Ayoub thousand thank you once again for your availability your kindness and benevolence! Recommended ++++

Too noisy to sleep

We have stayed in riads before so know what to expect and this was not up to par.
The breakfast was v dull and the same every day.
Fresh towels were not always left for us - they took the old ones but left us with none and so we had to go and ask for them.
The room was not cleaned - they just made the bed.
We knew it would be Ramadan and Eid while we were there, but we were not given any local knowledge about what might or not be open and also the time change that happens - we figured it out, but that would have been useful to be told - especially as the clock change happened the day we travelled home.
I’d highly recommend taking ear plugs… our room was above the kitchen and had a small balcony on to the small alley. We had noise late at night, and every night, and all through the night…
One night there was a full kitchen clean down into the early hours…
One night the outside of the property was painted over night , shelves being sawed and drilled into the wall…
There appears to be a gang clubhouse opposite in an abandoned building where young men congregate loudly every night …
The young guy that was on reception and serving breakfast was the only member of staff we saw and seemed to be lovely, but pulled in all directions.

Beautiful and authentic place!

We stayed in this Riad to enjoy Essaouira and its freshness! It is well located, beautiful, colorful and clean. The staff is welcoming and warm, we even extended our stay at the last minute! Everything was well organized for us in this sense and we thank the team! We will be back with pleasure!

Excellent value for money super well placed

Riad very well placed, in its juice, in the center of the Medina, so necessarily a little noisy (foresee the balls quies) The equipment is reduced to a minimum but also the price. The bedding is very good, the bathroom a little cramped. Excellent value for money with, in addition to the kindness of the hosts! The restaurant is very good too!

Dirty, old, worst service

You get what you pay for, not that clean, no hairdryer/shampoo etc.
Rooms are old
Really bad service, they washed our clothes, payment upfront, and demanded with bleach. They didn’t give back a single firma for the damage.
We’ll not come again
