A welcome oasis in Xaghra

What a beautiful place to stay to experience Xaghra and Gozo. I had a very comfortable room with AC and a beautiful view of the Citadella in the distance. Delicious Croissant at breakfast and the kind charming host, Giancarlo made me feel so welcome and at home. The pool and outside shower were fantastic during this very hot time!

Warm hospitality in a traditional village setting

A fascinating house built of limestone in true Xaghra style. We thought Xaghra the most attractive village on the island with a glorious little square in front of the church. Giancarlo and Pam took us there for a welcome e drink and pointed out the various bars and restaurants. We liked very much Al Sale, Oleander and Bar 73. And they are all within 10-15 minutes’ walk of the house. Giancarlo is the most courteous and caring host who really made a difference to our holiday by telling us the best places to go and how to get there (often by Bolt taxi). Giancarlo’s breakfasts are legendary, especially his freshly baked croissants, Italian salami, local cheese and fresh fruit (strawberries like they used to be). The pool is small but deep (1-1.7m deep) and we were only sorry that we could only swim twice as it’s a bit chilly sometimes in early May. Great views of the Citadel in Victoria from the first floor balcony. A great place to wind down (and easy to get to Valletta for the day on the fast ferry via a Bolt taxi) if you want the high life.

Come essere a casa!!!!!

What to say? Giancarlo and Pamela are two fantastic hosts who welcome you and accompany you throughout your stay, without ever being intrusive but always available to find the best solutions. Really good. Of the place to say that the structure, typical Gozitan, is very beautiful, as is the view from the terraces, which also overlook the courtyard with swimming pool. 3 rooms only so maximum attention to guests. Varied and personalized breakfast. Pick up service from the port to the b&b recommended and at a more than fair price. In our case it was offered to us. Last note, the day of our departure was my husband's birthday and Giancarlo did find a beautiful cake. Giancarlo and Pamela are waiting for you in the bass. Gennj & Fabry

Fantastic B&B with excellent hosts

We recently had a fantastic 7 night stay at Ghorfa. Giancarlo and Anita are excellent hosts and immediately made us feel at home. The property is beautiful and the rooms modern and well equipped. The pool is large, warm and well maintained. Breakfast was consistently a highlight with homemade croissants and quality coffee; we also opted for a fish dinner one evening which tasted incredible. With Xaghra being in the centre of Gozo, it’s well situated to explore the island and is in walking distance of several highly rated restaurants. Highly recommended!

Great stay, lovely host and amazing view

We had some great days at Anitas and Giancarlos Place.
Really lovely and courteous people. Good individual Breakfast and clean rooms.
The view over Victoria is amazing!!
We would come back one day!!
Everything good for the two!!
