Hotel and room was great at the price point, just unfortunate didn't manage to get any early check-in on the day of arrival. In fact, only got keys to room 15 mins after the standard check-in time. Apart from that, enjoyed the balcony in the room and the large bathtub too. Buffet Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food. Hotel is also located within walking distance with good food options.
Oh, another thing. Love the pool, that actually comes with sea salt rather than the usual chlorine, which does more wonders for hair and skin than the chlorine would.

A bit pricy at the price i booked at RM 420 although understandably weekend rate. To me, this hotel should be price ranged between RM 300-350. All else will be acceptable then.

Thank You The Pines

The Pines has become my go-to hotel whenever I visit Malacca, whether for personal or business purposes. The hospitality received, spacious rooms, and the stunning view of Kampung Morten (especially at night) make every stay memorable. Coupled with friendly and attentive staff, it’s a place that keeps me coming back.

Overall, its a great first impression!

I was staying at The Pines Melaka, and im truly satisfied.
The location is good, 15mins walking distance to Jonker Street if you want to get some steps. Room is very spacious, cozy, and clean!
The room i was staying in got a connecting door to other room but its locked, but maybe because of that i could hear a baby crying next door, but other than that, everything is great!
The price was great for a hotel room this big. They also had all the basic amenities inside the room.
As for the service, this was actually one of the best thing this hotel has, everybody was polite and friendly, fast response. I got some arrangements for my clients in this hotel and Mr Dennis Kam, the Director of Sales, was personally assisting me and kept everything in check, he was very helpful, so everything was going well.
